[24] The One

Liana's POV

All I can see is white.

As in lahat white talaga.

"Where am I?" I murmured to myself as I tried to move a bit.

This is really weird. What is this place?

After I take a one step, my eyes widened when I felt the ground shaked.

I shooked my head. This isn't me. I shouldn't be afraid by that weird occurrence of the ground. I should stay strong.

I take a deep breath as I closed my eyes. This is it.

I breathed hard as I move my right foot forward to take another step.

I opened my right eye first to check if some any weird thing might appear in front of me or something. Phew.

I courageously opened my left eye and I blinked three times. Phew. I think I'm safe to move around this place.

But when I started to walk towards the northern direction, I suddenly felt that feeling again. But this time, it's really weirder! 

Mas malakas na yung pag-shake nung ground. Natatakot ako.

I'm scared.

Please, can someone save me?

Somebody please, save me from danger.

I-i'm scared. Please, save me.

Save me.

I closed my eyes and I covered my ears with my two hands. I'm scared. I'm really scared right now.

Until I felt a warm feeling on my body. Wait, what is this?

Ang init. Ang init talaga sa pakiramdam. Yung feeling na alam mong safe ka kapag nararamdaman mo yung feeling na yun.

"Liana." Huh? What is that sound?

"Liana." Where did it came from?

And why does the sound sad? It's like, it's longing for someone.

"Liana, please wake up. Alam mo bang miss na miss na kita? You said you're strong. Why are you being like this to me, huh? Huwag mo naman akong biruin ng ganito. Gumising ka na, ah? I'm waiting for you to wake up."

Wait a minute! That's Carl right?!

Yan yung Carl ko diba?! Yung nag-iisang Carlito ko!

Si Carl Eric Lopez.

"Carl!"

"CARL!"

"CARL!!!" A-aray. Biglang may kumirot sa bandang sentido ng ulo ko.

A-asan ako?

I looked down sa may bandang tiyan ko kasi parang may mabigat na feeling. Parang may nakadagan. Hindi pala, may nakayakap.

Nagulat ako ng bigla itong tumayo and I was shocked nang makita kong si Carl yun. "L-liana! You're awake now, right? Thank God! Thank God for answering my prayers! Thank you po dahil hindi niyo pinabayaan ang babaeng mahal ko!"

He looked towards my direction as we met each others eyes. He held my hand as he touch my face. "Thank you Liana. Thank you for not giving up and thank you dahil gumising ka na. You know that I miss you right?" Then she kissed my forehead.
