Chapter 8
Mia's POV
God what a nightmare.
I placed my hand over my sweating forehead, finding myself breathing harder and faster than normal.
I had dreamt about Zerrie's wedding and Perrie was wearing her white Vera Wang wedding gown, which I personally picked out by the way (twas gorgeous), and she was making her way down the aisle.
But then all of a sudden, Zayn wasn't there at the other end. The boys and I searched everywhere but no one was able to find him.
Let me tell you those were the worst nightmares a wedding planner could have. Nothing could go more wrong than a groom missing on the big day.
Like Chandler Bing from Friends. Phew. Thank god Monica didn't know til the last second. Luckily they still got married.
Mondler for the win!
I looked around the room and realized that this was not the bed I usually woke up in. The white walls, the black sheets, the large, open closet of men's dress shirts. It was almost familiar...
Zayn's roo--
I gasped.
What the hell was I doing in Zayn's room?!
I took a peek under the covers to make sure I was fully dressed in something, but immediately regretted it. I was only wearing a white tank and my sleeping shorts that had flying pigs on them. Yes, flying pigs.
Oh. My. Freaking. God.
I zoomed out of Javadd's room to the washroom right across the hallway. After splashing handfuls of water on my face, I looked at myself in the mirror and pinched myself hard on the cheek to make sure I wasn't dreaming.
It hurt ... Darn it. I wasn't dreaming.
"We didn't..." I said to my reflection. I couldn't even finish the unspeakable sentence. I tried to laugh it off. "How could we? Don't assume such things Mia," I poorly convinced myself.
No doubt I looked like a delusive patient at this moment. I felt a massive ache pounding from my head. I'd never felt such an agonizing sensation before.
I opened the bathroom door, heading towards my room and urgently jumped when I found Zayn leaning against the door.
"God. You scared me!" I yelled at the handsome singer, holding my heart in my chest.
"Sorry," he chuckled. "That wasn't my intention."
There was an awkward silence and I cleared my throat to break it. "Can I get into my room, please?"
"Aren't you curious ... why you found yourself..." Zayn pointed to his bedroom. "...in there?"
Of course I was! You think I'm just some irresponsible girl who sleeps wherever or with whomever she wants!
I cleared my throat twice this time. I've been doing that a lot lately and Zayn suddenly laughed.
Why was he laughing? Was the jerk laughing at me? I was beginning to get really irritated at his ... contagious happiness.
"Are you thirsty?" He asked out of the blue.
I tried to process his odd question. "What! How c-could I--? Aren't you being a bit out there?!" The dirty mule even had the guts to say such vulgar things.
Zayn snickered even louder this time. "You're mental. I meant as in water."
Oh.
Well, way to make yourself look like the dirty one, Mia, my subconscious added.
