Chapter 15

Zayn's POV

*before Zayn goes to see Mia*

I just got off the phone with Perrie right after talking to Liam. What did she say you might ask? Well, she reminded me about the ridiculous request of hers and asked me if anybody knew about it. Of course no one knew but me.

My phone in my back pocket rang a text message tone. It was from Liam.

"I forgot to tell you that I told Mia, you liked her. Don't be angry. I know you might not believe it but when you kiss someone like that on TV, it's hard to believe you two aren't in love."

Liam told her that I liked her. Why would he do that?! What in the world was Liam doing to me?! Love?!

He was losing it. I didn't even want to text him back because I was so angry.

But him doing that made me concoct a plan. Thanks to Liam's slip of the tongue, I am going to take advantage of it. If I had a conscience, I wouldn't do it but this was all for Perrie. The love of my life.

I grabbed my jacket, my wallet, and a pair of sunglasses. I was heading to South Shields. Not by a private jet, but by bus. I figured it would be more suspicious of me to land in South Shields on a plane.

***

I fell asleep on the 8 hour bus ride. By now, the sun has already set and the sky was pitch black with a few night clouds.

How in the world was I supposed to find Mia here? I had no idea where she lived, or what she does. Except I do know what she does. She's a wedding planner!

Sometimes I amazed myself with how smart I am.

Finding a wedding boutique was harder than one would expect. It was a nice little town here though. The streets weren't that wide and not nearly as busy as London's.

"Zayn?" A female voice said from behind me.

I turned around to see a young lady around her mid twenties. She was wearing a brown cardigan with a long pink skirt falling right below her knees. Her light brown hair was up in a bun and she was wearing a pair of thick glasses.

"Hi. How are you doing tonight?" I said, putting on my nice face to my fans face.

"I'm well. Thanks for asking. What are you doing here in South Shields? That's uncanny. My friend and I were just talking about you."

"Is that so?"

Her face changed from excited to cross as if she remembered something horrible. Then out of no where, I saw flying stars. She had slapped me right across my face.

"What was that for?" I asked trying to hold the anger in my voice.

"That was for my friend. You know, the girl who came to see you in London, planning your wedding, and then you suddenly kiss her and caused this whole mess in her life!" She continued on.

No way. She must be talking about Mia! What great luck!

"You're Mia's friend? You have to help me find her," I begged, grabbing her hand with both of mine.

"And why would I do that? Trust me, it's best if you just left her alone." After saying that, she walked past me, making sure our shoulders collided on her way.

Now what? I'll never be able to find Mia if I can't convince her friend to tell me where she lived.

"I love Mia," I lied and I felt terrible. I have never lied in my life and with all the course of events, with the arrival of Mia, I became someone I started to hate.
