I briefly saw Locus glance at me before the leg I was standing on stepped forward, and I clung onto it for dear life as the stone giant above me clashed heads with a second. All along the mountain there were more appearing, having what looked like to be some sort of war.

Silver, are you alright? Pegasus asked me. We lost Ethsi in the storm, Dimitri found shelter!

Not a good time, Pegasus! I replied.

They broke huge chunks of rock at each other, some locked in a scrum hold, others fought with bare hands. I dodged the debris of falling rock as a giant head came flying past, soon followed by its great body.

Where are you? Suddenly the giant I was on turned to face the mountain, and pulled off a huge boulder, turning to smash it into the oncoming blow from its opponent. As it turned back for more ammo, I saw a glimpse of light in a crevice, and then to my surprise, Dimitri jumped out.

Dimitri found me! I replied, before severing the mind link.

"Silver!" The boy yelled, his voice barely reaching my ears before it was whipped away by the howling winds. I gripped on tight to the leg of the stone giant as he clashed with another in a headlock. With ease, the opponent ripped my giant's head clean off, before delivering a blow to its right shoulder. The body I was standing on pivoted to face the mountain where Dimitri stood trying to stay put. His hair whipped around him like a lasso, and he yelled something into the wind that I didn't quite catch. He tried again.

"Jump!"

"Are you crazy?" I tried to yell back, but the knee I was standing on shook and interrupted me as it headed towards the mountain pass near Dimitri. I held on for dear life as it crashed into the mountain, and leapt.

The stone giant crashed into the mountain cliff beside me and I put my hands out, gripping the cliff face and hugging myself furiously to it. Below me I saw Dimitri scrabbling at the debris I should have been under. I began to climb down, but then a rock fell loose and landed next to Dimitri. He looked up in confusion, when his dirty face turned into recognition as I climbed down next to him. He couldn't keep the smile off his face; he looked rather relieved to see me.

Suddenly a rumble of thunder interrupted us and rocks began to fall as lightening struck the cliff face above us. Dodging rocks, I followed Dimitri down the hole into the cavern, no time for arguing as I saw a billow of dust coming towards us. Jumping down I stumbled back to avoid the falling rock that pursued.

The darkness surrounded us like a blanket until I heard the chipping of stone against stone. A light flared up as Dimitri wrapped a strip of his torn shirt around a stick. I clicked my fingers and blue flame illuminated our silhouettes as I looked around. Dimitri groaned as he looked at his torn shirt.

"Pegasus?" I called out. Please let him be alright. "Pegasus?" A whinny had me breathing out a sigh of relief as Pegasus trotted out of a corner. I embraced him with both arms, ignoring the gasp from Dimitri. My fire was Pegasus' as well and would not burn him.

I thought you were dead. I told him.

I thought you'd been taken. He replied. I lost you in the storm and Dimitri saw shelter, and the storm was so bad. He made us wait here. And after the mind link cut off I thought the worst.

I know, I'm sorry. I apologised. But the stone giants started a fight, and I got caught on one of their legs.

"Silver, your face is bleeding." Dimitri interrupted us with concern etched all over his face. I pulled back from Pegasus and felt my forehead. Bringing my hand back, I indeed saw blood, a decent amount too. I turned to Dimitri, who gasped. I knew it was healing. All of the cuts on my hands soon closed over as well, leaving nothing but dried blood and dust covering me. Dimitri did not look any better. My leg twinged, but I ignored it.
