The New Girl

Crazy evening

As I reached my apartment, I noticed a girl waving at me. "Hey! I live next door to you". "Hey, neighbour" I told her back.

She introduced herself to me. Her name was Cheryl. She had jet black short wavy hair that complimented her tan skin. She seemed to be one of those popular, I-know-A-Lot-About-Boys. Kinda type. Cause she soon started talking about her boyfriend to me.

Awwwkward! I mean we just met.

But, she seemed to be very friendly so I just smiled politely. When she was finally done bragging about her boyfriend I went into my place.

I was alone, like always after school no one would be home unless my sister came back from college. And my brother reaches home only after late in the night and my parents arrive late too.

So I went to the kitchen helped myself to a bag of Cheetos and a glass of milk did I ever mention my love for milk? People think it's weird :P. but I luvvit!

Just when I was about to lay down on my bed, my phone rang. I thought twice to pick up cause it was an unknown number.

"Heyyy" said a rather familiar voice.

"Andrew?...How did you get my number" I asked confused.

"I have my ways" he said, in his seductive tone

"So do you wanna come down and watch me play football we play everyday at 5 to 6 in the eve excluding the weekends and Wednesdays" he said

"What makes you think I'm interested in football" I asked, sarcastically

He chuckled "Aleeesha, I know you want to"

I loved it when he slurred on my 'e'

"Fine, I'll come" I said.

"Cya later...bye"

I hung up the phone.

There was something very mysterious about this guy. And I kinda like it. No! I don't, I mean... I don't know. I had this weird pit stomach feeling everytime I thought about him.

I quickly got ready to go down as it was 5 PM already.

When I got there, I saw Andrew he was already sweating and you could see his hot body through his shirt.

I immediately started fantasizing about him! ALESHA NO. STOP. said the inner angel in me.

I stopped when I saw him approaching me with one of his friend.

"Hey" he said in his mesmerizing voice
"This is- " before he could continue introducing me to his friend, his friend shoved him away.

"Hi, I'm Harrison and you are hot" he said.

And I just kept staring at him like a total weirdo. And before I could say anything Andrew came over

"Sorry about Harrison, as you can see he only speaks everything that's going on his mind." "Literally" he added.

I chuckled.

Harrison was a total hottie by the way he was blond and he also had blue eyes, he was British and he reminded me of Niall Horan.

Then his coach called him from the back. Both of them left Andrew asked me to sit on one of the benches there. And guess who I found there...
Cheryl.

"Alesha" she screamed, as she hugged me. Maybe a little over-friendly I thought to myself.

Apparently her boyfriend was also playing football, Jason was his name.

I felt really uncomfortable cause I didn't really know all this people as much. I wanted to leave so bad, but I stayed only because of Andrew.

Omg. Did I have a crush on this guy? No, I lied to myself defending my heart. Relationships are too much drama.

After the session was over. Andrew asked me if I was impressed with his football skills

"You wish" I said, grinning
"Don't lie to me Aleeesha" he said, giving me a smile.

I didn't answer him as I saw Harrison shirtless walking up to us.

"Don't you own a shirt mate" Andrew teased.

"I seem to have lost it" he said in his British accent. "Have you seen it anywhere?" He asked me.

"Nope" I said, trying not to laugh.

Then we made our way out of the ground and in the corner we noticed Cheryl and Jason making out.

"They're at it again bro" Andrew said, while Harrison held a thumbs up to Jason.

"They do this after every game" Andrew explained, Cause I had a weird expression on my face

"Uh-huh" I didn't know what to say!

Then Andrew insisted on walking with me to my block even though it was just 6PM

"Im not a 10 year old you know" I told him

"Haha I know Aleeesha, but I want to" he said

I could tell that he kinda felt weird for saying that from his expression.

And as I got inside my place, he suddenly held my hand. And yeah my heart started beating 2x times faster. he stared right into my eyes. I got goosebumps.

"Bye Alesha" he said with a twinkle in his eyes.

"Bye Andrew" I replied quickly, cause I realized I've been looking at him for too long.

I went inside and shut the door quietly behind me.

What was that all about!? Does Andrew feel the same way about me as I do about him. No I mean we're just friends right? We just became the best of friends at the end of the day. friends also hold each others hand for like a really long time and...
Alesha. Stop. Stop thinking about this. I said to myself. I was always this type I bottle up my feelings and never let them out.

I went into my room to do some homework. I was done with it in an hour since it was the first day of school we didn't really have so much homework assigned to us.

Then mom and dad arrived and they asked me about my first day in this school. And I told them, everything except the part where Andrew enters the picture.

I quickly had my dinner as I was very sleepy. I went to bed at 10AM. And Fell asleep listening to Justin bieber's love yourself.
