A/N I'll try to keep these minimal. I know it's been a while but I wanted to get a head start on some chapters to make up for college and work time. Without further a-do, let's get started!
I jumped awake as my alarm went off. Ugh I hated the sound they made. Reminded me way too much of an auto tuned banshee. I don't think I need to explain. I sat up in just my boxers, leaning my head on one of my paws with a groggy look on my face. Slowly my dark grass green eyes looked at the clock. '5AM?! You gotta be kidding..' I thought to myself.
Today was Monday. Back to school I go. After a couple of minutes I got up, rubbing my eyes.
"What's this?" I asked myself as i walked over to my phone. There was a message from Axel, a childhood friend who was on the football team with me.
Axel: "Hey man I need a ride today. :3"
I replied feeling a little cranky: "Why?"
Axel: "Out of gas. :/"
Me: "Alright. I'll be there at 6:30 ok?"
Axel: "KK :3"
I picked out some clothes to wear for today. Black jeans and brown t-shirt. The shirt matched my chest pelt pretty well considering I was a timber wolf. It was a slightly darker brown though so you'd be able to see it clear as day. However, it was much lighter compared compared to my back and the tip of my tail. I looked around for my keys and spotted them on the coat rack hanging out of the pocket of my leather jacket. Seeing as it was about 40 degrees out I decided to take that with me as well. I still didn't have to leave until 6:20 though.
I liked to get up early so I could take a nice bath before school. The bathroom was just across the hall. I ran a bath for myself. After about ten minutes I took my boxers off and let myself soak for a good while. When about an hour passed I pulled the drain plug and dried off.
When I pulled on my clothes I checked the time. 'Oh crap it's 6:25 I'm gonna be late to pick up Axel!'
I got on my clothes then rushed down the stairs grabbing a banana and an apple to start my day. Without further delay I ran out to my car, started it, and made my way to Axel's place.
