A Regretful Realization

Chapter 13: Arrival

Blake POV

Felix asked if we could go to a party by the docks. Obviously we were too young to drink there, but I still thought it'd be fun. Who could say no to that sweet little face anyway? I was just about to get dressed and groomed when my phone went off. It was an incoming call from Axel.

Before I could even say hello my ear was blasted. "Dude, are you going to the party?!I just heard about it!"

"Uh yeah..Felix asked if we could go." I responded with my ears still ringing slightly.

"Awesome!! I'll see you then!" I couldn't see it but I knew he was wagging his tail vigorously.

"When is it exactly? I was told it's at 9:30PM." I asked.

"You've got good info. See ya in an hour and a half." He hung up before I could say anything else. Man he was real eager.

I called Felix in.

Felix POV

I walked into Blake's bedroom after hearing him call out. "What's up?"

"Axel called." The timber wolf said distractedly; he was half talking and half getting ready. "He's coming to the party too"

"Great! I'll start getting ready!" I smiled.

He smiled at me and nodded. "Alright sweetie."

I walked into my room with no idea what I wanted to wear. My closet had gotten a bit full as time went by. So much so it was a bit hard to decide. After a few minutes I picked out black jeans with a pink stitching that matched my ears. Instead of wearing a coat I slipped on a dark purple shirt. I looked in the mirror and was pretty satisfied. I went downstairs to see if Blake agreed.

Blake POV

I heard Felix walk downstairs and decided to greet him there. We'd probably grab a bit of food before going to the party. "Hey uh you wha-" I saw him and my face seized. He looked quite handsome with that color scheme.

"How do I look?" The panther asked quizzically.

"Fantastic...." Was all I could get out. "What did I do to deserve a gorgeous boyfriend like you?" I took his paw into mine and led him to the car to go to a place to eat.

We decided to go to Little Clock Town, a little corner restaurant by the city. The food there was pretty good. Afterwards, we took a bit of a stroll in the park before making our way to the party. Of course we were a little late but that's when the real party began.

There were a few guards at the gate. We parked in the middle of the parking lot. It was kind of full but not quite packed yet. At about ten o'clock we approached the front but the bouncers said we needed to be 18. I showed my ID and was accepted. However, when Felix showed his one of them sighed.

"Bah, let him in." The other bouncer shrugged. Both of them were what you'd probably consider your average sized bull."Congrats by the way." He gestured to me and Felix holding paws. "Don't let anyone tell you it's not a blessing.” He had a pendant with a cross and gave us a big smile.

Felix POV

"Thanks you too!!" I blushed enough for Blake to notice causing him to giggle. “I really need to work on my social skills..”

"I'm getting better at seeing that cute blush of yours." My body temperature went up as he kissed my forehead.

I could here the click of their knuckles with a fistbump as we'd just walked passed them.

We walked down to a warehouse where music was actively playing. The warehouse had done a good job of keeping most of the sound inside. Before we walked in I gave him a good luck kiss. As we did I heard the familiar click of a camera phone.

"Hey ya love birds!!" Kim, Kylee, and Ethan stood before us. Axel made his way over from the gate and waved.

Blake smiled. "Looks like we have some company."

"Sweet! Hey guys!" I noticed Kim was holding Ethan's hand. "Looks like we aren't the only love birds here." I said holding in a giggle. Ethan and Kim were bright red. Axel nudged his buddy's shoulder.

Blake POV

Now I understand who they are. They're all buddies of Axel's. He's never really told me who his other friends were, strange as I think about it. At the same time, it's not really my business so I go with it.

He was about to say something but winked at Kylee instead. He'd said he had his eyes on someone but I think I could guess who it was now. "Me and Felix are gonna go in." I announced. "Who's going to join us?" Ethan and Kim nodded but Axel shook his head. I didn't need to know why.

"I'll be a minute." He waved us off.

"Alright. We'll stay by the entrance." I nodded before walking in with my very own and a couple friends. I was pretty excited.

A/N: Apologies for the short chapter. This one is fairly Raw and not edited much because I didn't want to drag it on as well as I didn't want to cut it too short. Next one should be out within a week. trying to give myself the benefit of the doubt lmao.
