^^^Jesse's P.O.V.^^^

I hold Danni closer to me. Her general curiosity getting the best of her. She sees the wicked creature in front of her. Close, but nor close enough to touch the girl. I watch Danni's eyes glaze over. I shake her. "Danni? Danni?!" I begin to shout and she begins to giggle.

"Oh stop it you, big oaf." She was looking at Alex. "She is just making jokes about how everybody has someone to hide behind or protect them, except Kenji." She looked at Kenji. "What a loner you must be." Both she and Alex said. She looked at me. "What happened to your face?"

"Enough young one." Thomas laughed out. Just entering the room of misfits.

^^^Haven's P.O.V.^^^

Extraordinary. Her power can affect other people as well. Almost take them over entirely, what a power. What a good thing she is on our side. I am so pleased I can soon call her an ally. "Kenji?" Thomas looked over and saw Kenji sitting there, looking like someone just called him a bad boy. No doubt checking the new girl out. "Kenji?"

As if finally waking up. "Yes?"

"She is your charge. Train her and make her do great things."

"Oh, she will be wondrous when I'm done with her." She smirked.

"Kinky." Once that left her lips Kenji's face turned beet red and everyone laughed. Even Dustin giggled. "If I knew such people where here. I would have came early. But it seems I will just have to make up that lost time." Kenji was dead.

Once Kenji took Alex to evaluation we sat at the table again. "I felt her in my but she couldn't push me as far as Danni." CJ rubbed her head. It almost felt like she was morphing us together." Asher pulled her closer and growled.

"She is telling the truth our mind link burned like someone was invading and pushing me out." I was confused. Such power, but why only with Danni and CJ? This need further examination, but as of right now, we will let her toy with Kenji.

"Danni, what did it feel like to have her in your mind?" She smiled.

"Warm and comforting."

"She was protecting Danni from other mind powers." Jesse inquired less then pleased. "Including our hard worked mind link. She flushed me and Asher out of our love's mind." He was angry.

"I do not think she is a threat. She is quite a fun species. Her evaluation shows she is jumpy creature. Nothing close to Kandice's electricity jumpy, but doesn't wish to do harm. What a beautiful girl." Thomas' eyes glazed over. "She is talking to me. Such brilliant philosophies and prophecies. The knowledge this girl has is enticing. The scientific- no!" He grabbed his head and ran. I raced after him.

"What?!"

"He pushed me out."

"Who?"

"And now she knows."

"What?'

"Adrian."
