If you thought this was a love story you are kind of wrong. This isn't even the close to the beginning. This is just my story. The first of a few. Because I can't put all of our stories into one. I could never tell you how Jesse and Danni ended up. I wouldn't even begin to explain the importance of Thomas. So let's just focus on this one.

Have you ever thought you found love? Or even a simple infatuation with someone's face? Isn't that greatest feeling in the world? The tingles? I remember when I first met every one. But meeting Adrian had to be the greatest. But he will come latter.

Dustin will always be my favorite story to tell. Because he is a shape shifter and it took forever to find him. Because I was alone before meeting him. I was walking in the forest.

The death is all around me. I can practically feel Him in my mind. I have been running for a little while. I should probably start again. I would dimension jump but He will just pop up with me. I am tired. I can hear the flow of a stream. I walk towards the sound but when I reach there there is a boy. He is just standing there.

Suddenly I hear is bones cracking and re-positioning. He starts to form into a new body but stops and screams. I run up to him and tackle him down. "Shh!"

He looks up at me and grunts. "Who are you?"

"Someone trying to keep you alive." I can hear the soldiers before the shots are fired. I drag him up. "Run!" He just stands there. "Are you crazy?"

"You have magic don't you?" I nodded. "Then fight!" He shifted successfully this time. But nothing close to the small creation he was trying a few seconds ago. No, he is much bigger now. He designed his body into a T-Rex. He snarled and through people all around. I looked at my hands and open my powers. I conjured a bazooka and aimed it in the middle of the crowd. I shot and the soldiers soon were no more. He shrunk down completely naked. "So, who are you?"

"Haven, you?"

"Dustin."

You are probably confused, but to be honest I am not ready to tell you everything. Just enough to pass by. But like I said, this place isn't my original home. But I don't think I could have ever asked for a better family. He was the first of many to follow me. Even though sooner or later he finds someone he will always hold a special place in my heart.

After he shifted back he never showed a fury like a T-Rex. I will never understand he patience. He is my best friend, I could never lose him.
