Courtney is one girl I could never quite understand. We didn't always call her Courtney. Her middle name is Jade. She was one girl that made me want to go on a hike, and hit some trees because I brought a book.

A sudden knock rapped through the building. I was awoken from a peaceful sleep and ran down to the door. I swung open the heavy door and saw a girl. Her bright blue eyes illuminating her surroundings. Her face was covered except for her eyes. She looked surprised. "Hello?" She stood up and straighten her back. She took off her hood and mouth cover. Her light brown hair fell out and her pronounced canines shown.

"Hello." Her voice had a force. "Are you Haven?"

"Yes, and you are?"

"Courtney." I gently smiled.

"Are you hungry?"

"Starving." I aloud her in and showed her to the kitchen. I pulled out the leftovers of today's dinner. The lasagna was still warm so she didn't want it heated up. She horked down her food and asked for more.

"When was the last time you ate?"

"Three months ago. A daughter of a goddess doesn't need food." I was taken back.

"What goddess?"

"I am the daughter of Athena."

"Demi-god I presume." Kenji's voice rang out. Courtney was suddenly behind him with a knife on his throat. He just flipped her over and swung her down. "I am a good person and live here." She looked mad. I mean who wouldn't a daughter of a goddess just got her butt handed to her. I shooed Kenji off and pulled up Courtney. " I am the son of Robin Goodfellow. A summer fae."

"Courtney, it is not a decent pleasure to meet you." She was scowling while Kenji was counting his fingers.

"Eight letters is unacceptable. Pick an easier name."

"What? No!" I was trying yo find a reason why her name wasn't acceptable. Then my brain clicked, paperwork would suck and that is his job.

"Forgive Kenji, he does the paperwork and if you don't make one he will give you one. Any name above 5 letters in unacceptable only Thomas breaks that rule because he did his own paperwork." She looked like she just heard the most incredulous information from Wikipedia. "What is your middle name and do you like to be called that?"

"My middle name is Jade and no."

"Boom, I got it." Kenji snapped his fingers and jumped up. "C.J. Yeah?" She looked at him again. That look that says you are the dumbest thing on this planet.

"I like it." Add Thomas to our group. Great we are started to circle up like That 70's Show. I vote Kenji Kelso. "Easy to write and if you have any enemies it is harder to find when you go on missions." She was starting to calm down.

"She likes it." Kenji's eyes were glazed over as he looked at her aura. "She is quite amused at our circle."
