I go to the Lake with my Tutor

After I get out of the car I see him pull out of the driveway as soon as I open the door. I run upstairs turn the shower water on and call Ashley. "Hey" she says gently. "He kissed me" I practically scream into the phone. "Nuh-uh" she says and I giggle. "Yeah" I say and she starts squealing. "Don't say anything though" I say and she stops laughing. "I won't" she says and after I tell her bye I jump in the shower. Even though my hair looked great I could have done the same thing, good thing it was free. I wash my hair and try to get all the sticky stuff off me. I get out of the shower and hear the door open downstairs. "Kate?" Hunter says. "I'll be down in a few minutes" I say and smile.

I blow dry my hair and put it up in a bun after I put on a pair of leggings and Hunter's sweatshirt. I know fashion police, but I really don't care right now. I slide on my off brand Uggs and walk down the steps. "Hey" I say and he turns to look at me and smiles. "You ready?" he asks and I nod and smile. "I like the sweatshirt" he says and I just look at my feet. He stands up and walks towards me. He lifts my face to look at his and slowly leans towards me again and slowly kisses me again. I smile and he looks at me and smiles.

He grabs my hand and intertwines our fingers as we walk towards his jeep. He lets go and we get into the car, but as soon as he is on the main road we grab hands again. "Hunter?" I ask and he glances over at me. "Hhm" he says. "Can I ask you something?" I ask and he glances at me worriedly this time. "Of course" he says. "Why?" I ask quietly. "Why what princess?" he asks. "Why out of all the gorgeous girls in our school why do you like me?" I ask and I start blushing. He stops at a red light and turns to look at me. "You really don't understand how beautiful you are, do you?" he asks, but I stay quite. "You have an amazing personality, you are sweet yet sarcastic, kind yet blunt, and anytime I see you I start smiling. You are hard-working and you don't care all about what other people think of you. You are wonderful, and beautiful" he says and I know that I'm blushing now. He kisses the back of my hand and I smile the rest of the way to the restaurant.

Hunter and I hop out of his jeep and we grab hands again. I look at my phone and see that it's 9:00. Ashley and Ryan were already waiting for us inside. As soon as Ashley sees me and Hunter she smiles down at the ground trying not to be obvious. I roll my eyes and Hunter smirks at me. We walk up to the hostess and she seats us, Ashley and Ryan on one side and Hunter and me on the other. "Do you want the inside?" he asks smirking. "Duh" I say and slide in and he rolls his eyes while smiling. "You know what. You guys know our drink orders, so Kate and I are going to the bathroom" Ashley says and drags me away.

"Oh my gosh. This night has been crazy, but amazing" she says and I smile. "You and Hunter, Ryan officially asked me to be his girlfriend, and now we all are together" she says and jumps up on the counter. "You should come over and we can fill each other in on the details" I say and she nods and laughs. "Let's go before they think we ditched them" she says and I laugh.

We get back to our booth and see that Hunter and Ryan are laughing about something. "Hey" I say and Hunter and Ryan stand up to let us get on our side. "What are you guys talking about?" Ashley asks. "Baseball practice" Ryan says and I nod. "When's y'all's first game?" I ask. "This Monday" Hunter says and smiles at me. "You guys should come" Ryan says. I look at Hunter and he nods. "I'm up for it, I love baseball" I say and look over at Ashley. "Yeah, ok. Kate can give me the play-by-plays" she says and we laugh.

"Ok, so where are you guys going?" Hunter asks and I look at him confused. "I've known you guys long enough to know you guys are spending the night together" he says and we laugh. "My house" I say and he nods. "I can drive you both, or you can ride with Ryan" he says to Ashley and she shrugs. "I can just ride with you guys" she says and walks towards Ryan. Hunter and I go ahead and get into the car and wait for Ashley. "I'm glad you are coming to my game" Hunter says. "Well I love baseball, so..." I trail off and laugh. "Ha-ha" he says and laughs. Ashley opens the back door. "Ready?" I ask and she nods.
