~4 months later~

"Hunter Ryan Matthew" I scream as he drops my in the ocean water. "Dude, you are in for it" Ryan yells and Hunter laughs. I stalk out of the water dripping wet. "Princess! I'm sorry" he yells at me and come behind me and picks me up. I look at him unamused. "I'm sorry princess" he says and kisses me quickly. "I love you" he says and I roll my eyes. "I love you too" I say and he sets me down. Ryan, Ashley, Hunter, me, and Bridget all walk back to Hunter's beach house where his parents are waiting for us. "We are going to a very nice restaurant, so everybody go get ready" Amanda, Hunter's mom, says to us and we all head to our rooms. Yes, the house is so big that everyone has their room... and bathroom.

I step into the shower and get all the salt out of my hair. I step over to my closet that I have been using for the last week and a half. Ashley runs into my room with a robe on and her red dress in her hand. "Will you zip this up for me?" she asks and I nod. She gets into her dress and I zip up the tight up adorable dress that has a jeweled belt that goes with it. "Ok, I'm retreating back to my room. If you need me just come over" she says and walks out the door with her robe wrapped around her.

I grab my creamish pinkish dress from my closet and slide it on. I learned a tip on how to zip a dress by myself so I just do that because I'm to scare to risk Hunter seeing me. Its strapless, has a bedazzled top, and poofs out at my waist and ends a little above my knees. I curl my hair, and put on makeup even though Hunter still insists that I don't need it. I put on my pair of nude color heels and reach for my phone that just vibrated. "We are all done and waiting for you. Lol. Take your time though" Hunter texts me and I roll my eyes. It's already been an hour and a half and I didn't even know.

I walk downstairs and everyone stairs at me. "What?" I ask and Hunter just smiles. "You look gorgeous" he says and walks towards me. He's wearing black pants and a white button up with a suit coat over it. "Thanks" I say and look down at my feet. "Ok kids, come on" Randy, Hunter's dad, says.

We all get into Hunter's mom's Escalade. Ryan and Ashley in the very back Hunter, me, and Bridget all in the middle, and Hunter's parents in the front. "You look absolutely stunning" Hunter whispers in my ear. "Thanks" I say and Bridget pulls me closer to her. She leans forward and whispers "So, are you and my brother dating now?" I laugh and look at Hunter who is watching us. "Yeah, we are now" I say and she smiles.

We get to the restaurant and walk in. Me and Hunter holding hands. "You guys go on in, we will be in in a minute" Hunter says and looks at me. Everyone else walks on in the fancy looking restaurant. "What's up babe?" I ask Hunter and he looks at me and smile. "I want to thank you" he says and I just stare at him. "Why?" I ask smiling. "Because before I met you I was arrogant, cocky, and selfish. I only thought about what I wanted and what made me happy. Then you and your awful math skills come walking into my life and I realized that there is so much more in life than what I want. And I love you and I will try to give you everything you want" he says and I feel my eyes water.

"Before I met you I was shy and had problems trusting anyone that I hadn't known since I was kindergarten. Then I realized that even though I may not know exactly how things are going to go I have to trust in the people that care about me. Even the arrogant pitcher and quarterback" I say and he laughs. "Here" he says and pulls out a ring that is shaped like a tiara. "My promise to you is to treat you like the princess you are and will forever be" he says and slides the ring onto my left hand ring finger. I feel a tear slide down my cheek. I wrap my arms around his neck and he laughs. "I love you" I say. "I love you too, princess" he says and we walk in the restaurant his arm wrapped around my shoulders as I stare at my promise ring. "Do you like it?" he asks. "I love it" I say and kiss him.

We may be young but I feel that as cheesy as it sounds I belong right here. Not only with Hunter's arm around my shoulder, but with Ashley laughing beside me and eyeing my ring. With Ryan and Hunter talking about baseball. With Bridget grabbing my arm and telling me about what this girl in her dance class said. And with Amanda and Randy smiling at me and telling me that I am always welcome on any trip they go on. No, I don't know where it will all lead or what will play out in the end, but right now I know that this is where I belong. This is my family.
