3.0 - The big news
Both boys had been shocked by the news. Michael was pregnant. He was expecting twins.
Two kids.
Ashton's kids.
"It's a very interesting thing, but it is a fact. Those two, as Michael said, 'raisins', are babies."
Michael's eyes were wide as he looked at the two blobs on the screen. "Have babies?"
"You're having two babies."
"Babies." Michael repeated in wonder, looking down at his stomach. "Babies in tummy?"
"Yes. That's were they live for nine months, before being born. It's a long time, but it will be worth it." The woman explained, making sure a sonogram was being printed before she removed the device and cleaned the cat-boy's stomach.
"Well, it looks like you got your wish, Mikey. Just... in a way nobody would've expected." Calum mumbled, before smiling up at the black haired boy. He was already looking back, smiling. "Have babies with Ashy."
"Yeah. You'll be a family. Like you wanted." Michael squeaked in happiness at Calum's words, smiling widely.
"On to the important matter so you'll actually have that, of course. I want to be updated on anything unusual and we'll schedule an appointment. Who would you want to have with you then, Michael?"
"Want Boo." Michael said quietly, now sitting up and looking down at his lap, before quickly looking over at Calum. The other boy was smiling and nodded at those words. "The father will be there."
"I assumed so." Joy nodded, cleaning everything up and turning the machines off, taking a piece of paper in her hands. "I'll set out an appointment for in a weekend, so we can see how everything's going and so he can be there."
"Sounds good." Calum said, smiling at Michael. The cat-boy, however, was more focused on what was in the woman's hands. "Is photo babies?"
Joy smiled, handing the boy the piece of paper. "It is indeed. It's called a sonogram. Look, here you see baby one," Joy pointed at the first blob, "and a little behind it is the second."
"Twins, huh."
"Yeah well, at least it stayed with two. Cats normally have a nest of three to five kittens." Joy said, raising an eyebrow at the cat-boy.
"Could have more babies in tummy?!" Michael looked at the woman in shock, before looking down at his stomach.
"Could, but you've only got two. Don't worry."
Michael nodded slowly, smiling at his stomach. He then slowly brought the hand that had been holding Calum's to his stomach, rubbing it carefully. "Having babies."
"Let's get you two that ice cream, before you'll go home and tell the dad. Well, the other dad."
"Ice cream!" Michael cheered upon hearing the words, excitedly getting up as he clutched the sonogram to his chest. With his free hand he immediately grabbed Calum's, looking at him a bit shyly. The dog-boy simply smiled.
Joy soon led them out of the clinic and drove them to an ice cream parlour, letting them order their ice cream and take it to the car. Michael really wanted ice cream, but he also wanted to go home, so Joy had proposed to just take the ice cream with, as long as they wouldn't spill it in the car.
Luckily, none of that happened and soon Calum and Michael were saying thank you and goodbye to Calum's mum, before the two of them were alone in the apartment, their ice creams gone as well.
