Start of Being a KG

Boyfriend ko hindi gwapong football player, hindi din MVP ng basketball sa highschool, or mayaman na vocalist, or some sort of popular boy.. guesss whattttt... 

Boyfriend ko ay SUNDALO. He wears a combat boots and carries a gun..!!!!

My story is not the super kilig type.. Not the imaginative one and definitely not a fantasy that you are day dreaming about.. so snap out and heres a true story. A reality of being a Military girlfriend.

My boyfriend is a Cadet attending at Philippine Military Academy Baguio City.

Kaydet girl - this is what we call the cadets Mother/Sister/ close na girl na friend / or the most popular his Girlfriend.

I'm not his mom, not his sister nor a barkada. I am my cadet's Girlfriend. :) 

My life as a kaydet girl started in my civilian world. Where time is everlasting, where rules are to be broken and curfews are to be paid by promissory notes. Where phones and internet are wasted in facebook and in twitter. Where nightouts are held every weekend and companions are everybody.

It was when life is just about School, friends, family and kilig moments with crush.

Little did I know the time I wasted become extinct, rules are to be followed and if not punishable by great effects. Communication is 1 text 1 call in a week and no nightouts. No curfews, no lates, no rush. And real friends have become 1 times 1.

It was when life as a kaydet girl started. 

Life as a kaydet girl is an exigent hard, trilli'n adventure, tough but heavenly extending fun.

At first I cannot feel being a KG, I mean I don't care if my boyfriend is a  cadet/ PMA  or what. I love him not because he is a cadet, I love him for who he is. Him being a cadet is only a part of me loving him.

We enjoyed every last minute of him being in my world (the civilian World). And I never thought of being a Kaydet Girl at that moment (i don't even know what Kaydet Girl means) Coz being with your love one means forgetting every hindrance  to be happy.

Till kisses means good bye and hugs means I'll be waiting for his return. Not knowing when and how.
