A Deal With The Devil

Chapter 14

"Chase?!" Her eyes widen seeing Chase after a long time.

"Nice to see you again Isa." He smiled at her.

She suddenly felt uncomfortable. The last convo they got doesn't turmed out right. She never wanted to see Chase again. It's embarrassing for the situation.

Seeing Chase again transpired the pain she felt months ago. Simon provided her temporary comfort and she thought that she's over him but when she saw him again. Pain transpired as fresh as a warm blood. But she decided to conceal. She will totally look like a fool if she won't, she's sure that everything's nothing for him. Yes, she felt deceived and cheated and she's still affected from the incidents. However, the pain is just because she felt deceived and cheated but beyond that, the love gradually fades everyday and now is left no more.

"Long time no see Isa."

They talked in the garden. Outside the function hall. Standing a dn both drinking wines.

"So how's your Fiance?"

"You mean Morgan?"

"Yup."

"We just broke up. I can't marry her."

Her heart started to tremble. Her heartbeat started to pound.

"Why?" She asked. She felt sorry.

"Because." He sighed. "I kept my word for someone I loved."

"What?" She was shocked. Her heart was running wildly for the continuation. She never wanted to hear.

"You know what I mean Isa, I kept my word for you. I told you that I will come back and here I am. I tried to love her but, it was still you."

"Please Chase, don't say that."

"I'm back Isabella, I'm here. I kept my word but when I came back, someone owns you."

"Becaue if you haven't exchanged me from someone then this shouldn't be happening." She said and tears suddenly ran down.

"That's why I'm here baby." He replied and hugged her caressingly.

"I want you to be in my arms again baby." He said and kissed her forehead.

"But I can't be in your arms again."

"Why? Is it because of Simon?"

She nodded.

"I'm here. I know that you have him because of the thought that I left you. His just a second option Isa."

"No it's not that."

"Then tell why? Is it because of his money? His fame?" He spat.

"Of course not!" She cried.

"Do you love him?"

"Yes. So much. With all my body, my heart and soul." She finally admitted. Atleasr that's the truth.

"No. I don't think so. You're just confused but I know that your love for him will easily change. Your just infatuated and confused. I will get you back. And I will not do the stupid mistake again."

"Please, you don't understand."

"Yes I do. Stay with me Baby."

"I told you I love him. And an affair with you is complicated right now. If you should have kept your word before tehm I wouldn't have loved him."

"I will get you back Isa."

"You're too late."

"Youll regret living with him. He's a devil and you know that. He will jsut make your life miserable and he will definitely cheat on you."

"He already changed. That's why he's marrying me." She lied. He didn't changed but he will change. Soon.

"I won't give up on you Isa."

"Isabella." A man spoke. He almost whispered but the voice is trembling with anger.

Isabella instantly ran to Simon and hugged him.

"Chase. I would like you to meet my fiance, Simon. Simon he'smy friend Chase."

"Nice meeting you man." Simon said. Trying to conceal his anger and extended his arms for a shake unwillingly.

"So your Simon Ross?" A smirk plastered his face. "I wonder what Isa sees in you, the last time I remember she hates me with bad reputatio. I wonder if you won't hurt Isabella when the whole world knows that you're a womanizer." He spat.

Simon frowned and clenched his fist. His eyes were aiming bullets to fire.

"Chase...." Isabella stopped Chase from spitting harsh things.

Simon is finally pulling into his driveway and lead Isabella out of the car. He held her like she is so fragile. His princess like she's the only source of his happiness.

"So. Was he your ex?" Simon said in monotone once they arrived in the living room.

"You mean Chase?"

He stared.

"Yes." She answered

"Are you still infatuated to him?"

"What? Of course not!" I love you more than Chase. She wanted to add but she's afraid that he might freak out. She wanted him to learn to love her first.

"He... he... is my friend now." She tried to reason out.

"And he is the only man you like." Keyword like. He doesn't mention love for him it was just like a myth. He doesn't know what to do since that Chase came back. He feels like the only chance of getting everything of her gets slender. Yes, he wanted her to stay forever. He suddenly felt so angry when he saw the blonde man when he heard him say. I will get you back Isa....  if he could just rip of Chase's head without letting Isabella know. He wanted to do that since he saw Chase but, he tamed each and every nerve of him to behave.

"He WAS. Simon he was. Past tense." She tried to make Simon see sense.

"I don't think so Isa. We're getting married and you're already cheating on me."

"What are you saying? I didn't even cheated on you. It was other way around, you are the one whose bringing women in this mansion every week especially that Elladiah! I always get insults from her when we cross paths in this mansion and I tried to endure it, and now you're calling me cheater?!" She started to freak out and her tears gather in her eyes. A little more tears then it'll fall.

He suddenly felt guilty. Yes, for the fact that he's the one bringing women in his mansion. Isabella is crying now and he wanted to hug her so tight to comfort her.

"But it was in our contract that we shouldn't deprive ourselves to have a relationship with the others." He reasoned out.

Damn! What did I do. He mentally slapped himself for saying that. He can't help it. He Dont want to feel defeated and he dont wnat to apologize. He never apologized to anyone. Apologizing is only for the weak and he is Simon Ross.

Her eyes started to aim to him like bullets.

"Oh yeah. I forgot we have our contract. At first, when I came to your house as a collateral, we have a contract, and when we're engaged, we have a contract that states that were not gonna marry each other and there's no romance and sexual activities involved. But what happened? Im sorry Simon but I seem to forgot we have a contract that both of us can hook up with any person we want. I should have remembered that. I should have hook up with Chase earlier so atleast in that situation our activities are mutual and were both cheating to each other. Dont worry, next time I see Chase again, we'll continue our relationship. Besides, it doesn't violate the contract does it?" She said while sniffing while continuing to wipe her tears forcefully.

Her last sentences suddenly hit him. When she states that she will be with Chase again suddnely felt his heart rumpled that he wanted to kill someone. Which is Chase.

She instantly stood up. And went upstairs sobbing. She left Simon there caught up.

I fucked up...... Damn!!!! He said to himself.

He was about to follow Isabella upstairs but his pride didn't let him.
