Ana had everything she could ever ask for. She had nice things, lots of clothes, a home, food, and did many interesting things that most kids her age couldn't do. It wasn't like that until she was nine and moved with her dad. When she lived with her mom it was hectic. People always coming in and out of her life. She was always on the move. All of this for her mom's selfish needs. Her mom took her medication that Ana really needed and stole her own daughters money she had got from birthdays and holidays. She took away Ana's childhood...For drugs. She had to have them. Even If it meant taking Ana with her to get them. She would leave Ana with random people for days and would come back to get her when it was convenient for her. When Ana's mom had her, she would just sleep, get high, yell, and scream at Ana. She would lock Ana in her room for hours on end because she was 'misbehaving'. Most times she would hit her as well. Often, for no absolute reason. Her dad and stepmom weren't any better. They would yell and scream too. They always wanted to know what was wrong with Ana. Ana wanted to know too. She wondered why she was never good enough. She had ninety fives and above for grades. If it went down the slightest bit her stepmom, Angelia, would question her. They blamed everything on her. None of them would just let her be a kid. Ana would get in trouble for doing childish things that she should experience. Angelia would always make fun of her clothes, friends, music, and makeup. Ana couldn't just be herself even at home. When she got to her mom's house, it only got worse. They'd always fight and Carly, her mom's fiance, would make fun of her and join in on the fights that she had no place or say in. She had no right to tell Ana she had borderline personality disorder because she wasn't there all of her life and she essentially was the crazy one. She wasn't there to see her mom beat her, lie, and scream at her for nothing at all. Ana couldn't talk to anyone without being judged, that's why no one knew just how bad she was actually suffering. she thought she was really what they had said about her. The voices in her head said that it was all her fault and she was the awful person that made thing worse by being in the world. Ana, this broken soul, kept it all together. She called pain a five when it was really a ten. She stayed happy..... or so she thought.
