— new school —

"Have fun guys," my mother said as Jeno and I left the house.
"We have to split like in 5 minutes or so," I said to Jeno as we walked.
We didn't do much talking, it's probably because we're both tired and not excited about going to school.
"You look nice today," Jeno said as we stopped at the traffic light.
"You don't have to compliment me, what do you want?" I asked knowing that he wouldn't always compliment me like this.
"Buy me bubble tea after school," Jeno said with a cheeky smile.
"Fine, but you have to come to my school because I am not going to your school," I replied and he nods.
"I'm kind of scared, though, your school's full of seniors," Jeno said.
"Don't be, you'll be fine. You've never had any problems at school," I replied trying to comfort him. "Plus, your school has seniors as well."
"Well, with dad's comments yesterday, I'm not so sure," Jeno replied.
"Just forget about yesterday," I said. "Today's a new day and you are going to have a great day at school, okay?"
Jeno nod and hugged be before we parted ways.
As I walked, I realised that I was walking pass the Deoksugung Stonewall Walkway, it's near the Deoksugung Palace. I'll like to visit the palace one day. I've heard lots of things about this place.
There even a legend saying that if a couple walked down this walkway together, they'll break up. Sad - huh?
Suddenly, I felt the ribbon I tied on my hair flew away.
"Oh god," I mumbled to myself I quickly ran after my ribbon hoping I'll be able to grab it.
Before I could reach it, someone grabbed my black ribbon before I could.
"Oh," I said and made eye contact with a guy with a very bright smile. "T-thank you," I said with a bow as he passed it to me.
"No problem," he replied with the same smile on his cute face.
I took the bow and tied my hair back up again. While fixing my hair, I managed to take a peek at his face. He has a really cute smile and his hair makes him look even cuter.
"I've never seen you around before, are you new here?" He asked me and I nod. "Ah, your school isn't that far, just keep walking straight down and turn right. It should be there."
"How do you know which school I'm from?" I asked confused.
"Your school uniform," he replied and pointed it to me.
"Oh right. How silly of me. T-thank you," I replied.
"You're welcome. I wish I could walk you there, but my school is on that side," he said as he pointed from the direction I came from.
"Oh," I replied and looked at his outfit. "What year are you?"
"I'm a 2nd year," he replied. "You?"
"1st year," I replied and looked at my feet.
There was then an awkward silence between the both of us.
"I guess, I'll get going. Don't want to be late on my first day," I said and faked a laugh.
He faked laughed too and nod. "Good luck," he said with a smile and we both parted ways.
