7. Party Fever

A week has passed since the hospital incident and Ryan didn't find us.
We went back to New York the next day and we didn't miss anything from school, well at least nothing important.
Nothing has changed really except for the fact that we're getting a new principal; he'll arrive at the school some time next week and I'm asking myself 'what if he's an asshole of a principal and doesn't give a shit about us' or "What if he's a hunter?" Frank suggests like he read my mind and I shoot him a look "But why a hunter though? Wouldn't they now if it is a hunter?" I question and Frank shakes his head before plopping on my bed beside me "I didn't know that Ryan was a hunter, because hunters don't hunt in broad daylight. They plan everything and attack when the time is right," Frank explains and I look at him during the entire process "But Ryan kidnapped Mikey in broad daylight," I argue "You're right, but I'm pretty sure that was part of his plan to get me," he says and I have to admit he's right.
Next thing I know, his head is on my shoulder, he's been doing this a lot lately and I'm wondering if he's making a move or if he's just a affectionate guy.
"This is the perfect place for a hunter," he sighs and I'm scared now to be honest, because I don't want to die and I don't want the other people here to die, we're all young adults except Frank who's still basically a kid.
"If there was a hunter here, we could fight him right? I mean he can't take on twenty people at once, can he?" I question and Frank turns his face to look at me properly and his eyes are so beautiful and his lips gosh.
Next thing I know, my lips are pressed to his and what I didn't expect was for him to kiss me back. It's just a short lived kiss, but it's still wow...I can't even describe it.
A small smile graces his lips as we pull away and we're both blushing about fifty shades of red. "Sorry about that," I say even though I shouldn't "It's okay, I was just surprised, that's all... It was nice," he says laying his head back on my shoulder and my lips twitch into a smile.

*The next day*

"So, how have you guys been doing?" Pete questions appearing out of nowhere "Nothing really we were just laying in bed and talking nonsense," I respond "You?" I question "Patrick has been on my ass this entire week, I love him, I mean he is my brother, but he just gets on my nerves sometimes, especially during the week," he rants and Frank chuckles a bit "Shut up Iero, you don't know the pain of having siblings," Pete says before realizing what he just said "I'm sorry dude, I forgot what happened," he apologizes "It's okay Petey, I'm over it," Frank says smiling a little "What's in the past is on the past," he adds before stopping at his locker to put his books in so we can go to the cafeteria "Kellin and Jaime are already in the cafeteria waiting for us," Pete informs after reading the text her got.
"Let's go then," Frank chimes and the three of us make our way to the cafeteria to get lunch.
Once we get there, we see Jaime sitting with a girl "Why do you always turn into Katelyn?" Pete questions sitting down beside the girl, well it's not any kind of girl, it's Kellin, but Pete is right, he does always change into Katelyn - that's how he calls her.
"I like her," Katelyn says turning back to Kellin and Pete rolls his eyes. "I don't mind when you're Katelyn, I love you either way," Jaime says before pecking Kellin's lips. "I love you too, fire boy," Kellin says kissing his boyfriend again and I can feel Frank looking at me from the v corner of his eyes.
We didn't kiss again since yesterday and I have no idea why, maybe he doesn't want to rush things? I don't know, what I do know is that he liked it and me, well... I loved it.
"Hey, Gerard," Pete calls bringing me back to reality "Yea?" "When will your brother visit again?" He questions "I don't know, why?" I ask shooting him a look "Nothing, I just want to meet him properly, because I only saw him last time," he explains fiddling with his hands "I could ask him after school," I say and he thanks me.
It's nice that Pete wants to get to know my brother, but what is his real reason behind it? I think they would be perfect together as friends, they would get along pretty well, just like Frank and I.
"Do you guys want to go to this party Andy is throwing tonight?" Jaime questions before taking a bite of his food.
Frank and I exchange looks before saying yes.
I have no idea how or where Andy will throw a party, but I don't care, because Frank will be there and who knows what'll happen?

"Are you guys ready?" Pete questions after I opened the door for him "Frank is taking a piss, he'll be right out," I say before walking out of the room and closing the door behind me.
"Have you called your brother yet?" He questions and I facepalm - literally - "I'm sorry dude, I forgot," I say and he tells me to call now, I roll my eyes but grab my phone anyway.

"What did he say?"he questions after I hung the phone "He'll probably come this weekend," I respond and before Pete can say anything else, Frank walks out of the room and man does he look hot in those skinny jeans of his.
I won't deny it now, I have a massive crush on Mr. Frank Iero and if I will even kiss him again, that's if I even have the guts to get on with it.
What am I when worrying about? He kissed me back last time, why shouldn't he kiss me back this time?
"The party's in the shed?" Frank questions bringing me back to reality, "Yea, it's the only place around here that's big enough for a party and the teachers don't come out here very often, especially not at night," Pete explains before opening the door.
When the door's open we get hit by a wave of heat, there are students everywhere I don't even think we'll fit inside. "Jaime's in the back of the room," Pete announcers pointing to a figure over the dancing students.
Frank grabs me by the wrist so we don't get separated and the three of us make our way to the back of the room.
"Hey," Jaime yells over the music pulling Pete into an embrace, then me then Frank "Drinks are over there if you want to get one," he adds motioning to the right corner of the room "I'm going to get one, what about you guys?" Pete says, I shake my head and so does Frank "Okay," Pete says before disappearing into the crowd. "Where's your boyfriend?" Frank calls over the music "Kellin? He's... I don't know... The toilet?" Jaime responds and Frank just bods before saying something I can't hear and taking me by the wrist once again.
"Where are we going?" I question as loud as I can "Out," is his response and I just follow him.
The fresh air from outside is so different then the terrible heat inside. To be honest, I'd rather be inside right now, because it's freezing out here.
"What are you doing?" I question as Frank softly pushes me towards the wall behind me. His eyes search my face for any kind of fear? Discomfort? I don't know. Once he's satisfied white what he saw, he slowly leans in and I meet him halfway trough. Our lips fitting perfect together in the soft kiss.
He pulls away and I'm pretty sure I just whined, how embarrassing. I don't think it bothers him though, because he's smiling "You're a dork," he whispers before kissing me again, this time the kiss is more passionate and I can feel my jeans getting tighter every time his skin touches mine.

Before things get heated, he pulls away and drags me back into the shed, because it's freezing out.
We walk hand in hand back to where Jaime was a couple minutes ago. I can see Pete dancing with some girl and Kellin dancing with Jaime.

Frank doesn't let go of my hand the entire time and we watch the other people dry humping on the dance floor, shooting glances at e each other occasionally.

The party yesterday was awesome, especially because Frank was the one who kissed me and not the other way around.
I still don't know what we are but I'm a patient person so I'm able to wait for an answer.
What I do know though, is that he's secretive about it, and that he didn't talk to me since last night. I haven't even seen him after the party and I'm a little worried.
"Were you looking for me?" Frank questions appearing out of nowhere and making me jump. "I was wondering were you've been," I respond "Oh, Yea... Jaime dragged me to his room after you went to sleep and I fell asleep there," he explains before disappearing into the bathroom to get ready for school.
"I'll wait for you at breakfast," I say before walking out of the room and walking towards the cafeteria.
"Where's Iero?" Pete questions appearing behind me "Getting ready," is everything I say before we enter the cafeteria.

As we walk out of the cafeteria to go to class, Frank stops dead on his tracks, his eyes are widened and he lost all color of his face "Are you okay Frankie?" I question as I stop to look at him, he doesn't move or say a word, so I snap my fingers in front of his face and he flinches before looking at me "I-I just saw  Melcom Andrews," he stutters and look at him  questioningly "R-Ryan's dad," He adds and my eyes widen.
