Mysterious

Chapter 2

I awake at about 8:30. I look around the apartment, no one is here. I guess Kaleb hasn't come back yet. Or he did and then left again who knows.

It's really hot inside. I open the windows, but it doesn't help. I get dressed and put my hair up. I've decided to go outside and walk around like I did yesterday. It's so stuffy in here. I wish we had air conditioning, but that's not going to happen. I mean hell we don't even have electricity.

It's a little cooler outside. Not that much though. I walk through the streets. I'm anxious, hoping to see the mystery guy again. I have a huge crush, even though I don't want to.

He won't get out of my head. His curly hair and that wink that I found so sexy. I go into a day-dream of him grabbing me, pulling me in, and giving me the most passionate kiss as I run my fingers through his hair.

I snapped out of it and kept walking. Ugh! Why do I like him so much?!

He's not the kind of guy I want to be in a relationship with. Is he?

It's dark again by the time I get home. I don't even want to call it home. Hell would be a good name for it. I go to the apartment and look around. Kaleb is on the couch sleeping. So, I get in bed too. I can't fall asleep, even though I am tired.

An hour or so later I hear the door to my room opening slowly. I know it's Kaleb. I pretend to be asleep so I don't have to deal with his shit.

He peeks in and then walks away from my door. I hear the front door open and sit up. I look over and watch him as he walks out and closes the door behind him quietly. Where is he going that he doesn't want me to know about?

I wait a couple seconds and then I get up. I walk to the front door and open it slowly. I peek out and see the elevator closing. I'm going to follow him....
