the mall and groceries

We where in Walstorm, a place where we usually go and buy our needed necessities.

Eve bought a pair of thigh high socks to go with her costume for her cosplay. Petra bought a new luggage bag for her overseas trip next month.

I on the other hand, picked up a bag of cat delights and stashed it in the cart.

"Kitty Bites, again? Hmm. Whatever floats your boat." Eve shrugged.

I was sitting quietly in the cart, staring at my surroundings.

There was a woman in green asking another woman where the canned pickles were. I do not know what these 'pickles' are but I think it is some sort of chips in a can? Sounds peculiar, I know, but humans are a strange species.

Another one was a tall man in plad holding a bottle of spray paint and stuffing it in his basket. His basket mostly consisted of brushes and paints. Oh! And a box of tissues.

A little human by the name of Hilman was on his father's shoulders and commenting about which bread they should buy. I think the one in the blue packaging is best.

Petra tried to reach for a box of cereals but couldn't, so Eve did it for her. She pouted and Eve smiled.

About an hour later, we were queuing in line.

Surupa, a little girl queuing behind me, was playing with my tail as it went back and forth. Later on, her mother scolded her for doing so.

Finally, it was our turn. Petra and Eve started dumping the things on the counter one by one.

We exited the place.

When we arrived home, Petra turned on the big picture box and proceeded to switch the pictures with a miniature rectangle thing with buttons on it.

I spent the past two hours blocking the moving pictures and munching off of their food.

"Shoot! We forgot to take out the groceries!" Petra exclaimed.

They looked at each other with shocked expressions plastered onto their face.

They darted out of the apartment.

When they returned, they each had umpteen pieces of plastic bags filled with the things we bought. They had sweat rolling down their faces. Their arms and hands had red marks from carrying all the things.

Humans are very forgetful sometimes.

I stretched my back and went back to eating the buttery goodness that is popcorn from the couch.
