He heard them talk in the garden. It was just a coincidence that he had come to pass by it when suddenly he heard the truth and saw his daughter hit his not-blood-related son with her fist. She was crying and it upset but what upset him even more was that the horrible truth. 

Robert did not hold back as he hit the blonde haired boy in rage. Unfortunately the boy knew how to avoid his blows but didn't. Instead he just stood there taking it. Robert had learned to love his son as he saw how he grew up to become a better person. And he knew it was all due to his little princess. He started to grow to love him even when he found out he wasn't of his blood. But the feelings he had for the son was now shaking. Robert hesitated whenever he hit him. He didn't want Joffrey to die. After all he had come to like this boy. But what should he do? This boy whom he liked had raped his daughter. Now she can never marry anyone anymore.

"Take responsibility" he said with a cold voice to Joffrey and left.
