32 ~ Tears shed

* 6 months later *

I just got home from my ultra sound. Lucas couldn't make it cause he had to go to an important meeting.

He got his job as a P.E teacher and I got my job as a Victorious Secret model. I can't start till after the baby is born, though. It's a girl, that for sure and I can't wait! Maybe her name could be Lauren, Blue, Liza.

I softly placed my keys on the table and went to the computer. I have to do work, computer work. Again. I don't know why, but my boss is telling me that I have to do paper work and stuff like that.

~ Lucas' P.O.V ~

I told Riley today that I have to skip her ultra sound today. It's not because of a meeting. It's because I'm planning something for her.

" Perfect. Let's get this condo, you can have this master bedroom and I can have this one." Maya pointed.

" Riley is going to be so happy! " I smiled.

Farkle hugged Maya.

" I can't wait for all four of us, WITH THE NEW BABY! Can live together!" He squealed.

Maya and Farkle are still dating. Farkle said that he is going to propose soon. I'm going to propose to Riley when the baby is here.

Beep beep. My phone buzzes.

Are you almost done with your meeting yet?

Riley texted me.

Yeah. I'll be home soon.

I text her back.

" Okay. Well I'm going to go home and tell Riley. Bye guys!" I said.

I got out of the café and got into my car and drove home.

~ Riley's p.o.v ~

I got a call. From the hospital. I typed at my phone as tears flooded from my eyes.

Are you almost done with your meeting yet?

I texted him. I went to our bedroom and dropped onto the bed, grabbing the pillow and screaming and crying. My heart, shattering.

~ Lucas's p.o.v ~

When I got to our little porch, I heard Riley's screams and cry's. I grabbed my keys out and unlocked the door.

" RILEY?!" I bursted out.

I slammed the door shut and found Riley in our bed, crying and scream with her hands on her heart.

" RILEY!" I yelled.

I threw everything that was on me, onto the ground, and went over to her.

" Riley Riley." I whispered.

I took her hands off her heart and I felt them, shaking.

" What happened?" I whispered.

She didn't awnser. All she did was scream and cry. I put her hands into mine and cupped her face with her own hands, mine ontop, making her look into my eyes. She finally calmed down but her whole body was shaking.

" What happened baby?" I whispered again.

I saw her eyes were blood shot red, and hurt. Her lips quivered, holding back an awnser.

She shook her head in denial of what she wants to say. She bit her lip and hugged me, crying into my shoulder.

Her hands gripped onto me like I was her life. I want to know what happened to my Riley. But right now, she needs me. And I have to be there for her.

Finally. After 10 minutes of us holding onto each other. She calmed down.

" Now. " I took her out of my arms so I can see her. " Can you tell me what happened?"

She softly took her gentle hands on mine and took my hands off her face. She fold my hands together and cupped them with her hands. She kissed my hand.

" Will you love me after this?" She whispered.

I saw her eyes looking into mine.

" I will always love you." I smiled.

She gave me a small smile and took her arms around my neck. She crawled into my arms so I can hold her again. I did, and she stroked my cheek with the back of her hand.

" She died." She whispered.

" Who?" My words shakes.

I think I know who.

" Our....... Child." She whispered softly.

My heart aches after those words left her mouth. I felt tears streaming out of my eyes. I took my hands off her and covered my face with them.

" I'm sorry honey." She mumbled, hearing hurt from her voice.

I shook my head and looked at her, even though my tears blurred her.

" I love you." I Whispered. " I always will." I cried.

She grabbed my face and kissed my lips. I love her. Nothing will ever stop me from that.

My heart still aches and stung, there was no control over my tears. She wrapped her arms around my neck and placed her head on my shoulder. I felt tears coming off of her face and onto my shoulder.

About 4 minutes later, all was silent. Riley was asleep on my shoulder. I put my hand on her back and the other hand at the back of her neck. I slowly laid her down onto the bed and pulled the covers over her.

I dragged myself to the kitchen table and sat there. To think.

What am I going to do? I wanted this baby so bad. I cover my nose and mouth with both of my hands. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?

Tears shed off my face, once again. The pain was getting worse and worse. Now I know how Riley felt when she found out. I just can't live with this feeling in me. I just want to rip my heart out and throw it outside.

I dragged myself back to bed, where Riley slept on her side of the bed. I wanna cuddle with her. Maybe it'll take away the pain.

No.

I heard whispers in my head.

Beer, it will help.

It whispered. I shook my head and cuddled with Riley.

I wrapped my arms around her and our legs tangled. I placed my head at the crock of her neck and shut my eyes. I felt the small baby bump she had. The bump that shouldn't be there.
