37 ~ RILEY

Hey buddy. How are you? It's your old pal Lucas. We haven't talked in what? 6 years? It would be nice to meet up someday.

It's hard. I got my job. I have Riley. It's just hard, keeping in touch with Zay.

He moved to Texas and is living with Vanessa. I haven't seen him in such a long time.

I sighed and placed my phone down, getting back into bed. Farkle and Maya left an hour ago, ever since, Riley has been asleep.

I pulled the covers up to my shoulders and laid there. Riley was at the opposite side as me.

I closed my eyes and fell in a sleep.

~ Riley's p.o.v ~

Friday. Finally. I rushed out of bed and turned off my alarm clock. I have a photo shoot today.

My first one. I dashed to the kitchen and grabbed an apple. I can't get too full on a breakfast. It'll show.

I ate the apple and ran to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and washed my face.

I changed into sweatpants and a loose t-shirt.

I went over to Lucas who was sitting on the bed, and looking around the room.

When our eyes connected, he smiled.

" It's you first photo shoot baby!" He cheered.

I smiled at him and ran over to him, giving him a hug.

" I can't wait!" I squealed into his arms.

I looked at myself in the mirror. I look like any other models. A fuzzy grey sports bra with the same color underwear.

I put the robe on so they can do my make up and hair.

I went over to the makeup chair where make up artist waited for me.

They put everything on and curled my hair.

I got up and out of the chair. I walked onto set and took off my robe, revealing only a sports bra and underwear.

~ Lucas' p.o.v ~

I'm nervous for Riley. She said that she was doing a photo shoot today but she didn't say from what company.

What if it's those type of company's that reveal a lot of her. What if they treat her terribly?

I run my hand through my hair and watch my students play baseball.

" Hey Lucas. " I hear a familiar voice say.

Shockingly, I slowly turned around. I know that voice. I'll recognize it anywhere.

" Zay?" I gasp out.

" Hey there old friend. " he smiles.

With opened arms, he flings his arms around me and pats my back.

" I'm so glad to see you buddy!" I shout out, excited.

I let go of our small man hug.

" How did you get here?" I asked him.

" Well, I got your text."

I smiled.

" Are you and Riley... Dating still?"

I nodded my head. " 6-7 yeah, yeah."

" AYE YO TEACH! GET OVER HER! DUMBASS MATTHEW OVER HER DECIDED TO SWING THE BAT AT A TREE! HE MISSED AND HIT HIS HEAD! FUCKING MATTHEW!" I heard a boy scream to me from across the field.

I laughed at how stupid my students can be.

" Alright, well I have to go. Your welcomed to come to my house later." I pat his back.

" Yeah man, totally. I'll be there at 6. If that's alright. "

" Yeah."

~ Riley's p.o.v ~

Exhausted, I opened the door to the condo. I turned the lights on and dropped my keys on the counter. I closed the door behind me took off my shoes.

" Lucas?" I shouted across the condo. " I'm home baby."

It's 5 so he is normally home from work.

I tilted my head in confusion. He normally awnsers me...

I put my bag next to the door and walk to the bedroom.

" Lucas!" I shout again.

All of a sudden pair of hands wrap around my body and tackles me to the bed. He gets ontop of me and grabs a pillow. Then he starts to softly hit me with it.

" What are you doing Lucas?!" I say, blocking the pillow away from me.

" ZAY IS COMING!" He shrieks.

What? I shook my head and grabbed the pillow out of his hands.

" What's wrong? Aren't you happy?" He rubs my arm.

I shook my head. I whacked him in the head with the pillow and he fell to the side of me. I got ontop of him and whacked him again.

" WHY WOULD YOU F*CKING DO THAT?!" I yelled.

" WHAT THE F*CK DO YOU MEAN?!"

( what do you mean... Oh oh oh. When you nod your head yes. But you wanna say no. What do you mean 😂 )

I gave him a mad face and hit him with the pillow again. I got off him and stormed out of the condo, on my way to Maya and Farkle's house.

What in the world. I dashed out of the condo and watched as my life crumbled to the floor.

She laid on the floor. With a car at the side of her. A pool of blood drenched around her...

" RILEY!" I screamed.
