Ona's Perspective

I felt very different. The type of different where everything seems dream-like. From all of the dramas and stories I have heard, apparently it's called a "state of blissfulness". When you find yourself daydreaming about that one person and how they make you feel gets you to go all warm and fuzzy until you feel numb all over. That's me right now as I sit in my class, watching as the professor writes up a complicated math problem.

After that day on the beach side cliff, where Taehyung and I confessed, I was completely in a daze. Whenever Jimin asked me about my schoolwork, I seemed to tune him out as I just blindly stared at a blank wall, causing him to wave his hands in front of my face to snap me out of it.

"Ona," A faded name called to me. I was still reminiscing until something touched my shoulder. I turned to see Mickey raise her eyebrows at me and her brown eyes studying my face. "Is something wrong?"

"I'm fine. I'm just a bit...sleep-deprived." God, how true was that though? Taehyung made that happen. From the soft touch of his lips on my cheek and the strong feel of his arms around me, it caused me to have no sleep at all. I felt as though I would need sleep-aiding pills to help this situation, and some strong ones.

"I'm sure it's from studying. Poor thing." She chuckled, rubbing my shoulder. If only that was the case.

Once class ended, I followed Mickey to her locker, focusing on my uneven breathing patterns. My phone vibrated in my pocket, making me jump from shock and pull out the mobile to see who messaged me.

From just those 3 texts, my heart was rushing, my hands holding the phone became sweaty, and I knew I was darker than an apple

From just those 3 texts, my heart was rushing, my hands holding the phone became sweaty, and I knew I was darker than an apple. I gently brushed my thumb over the screen, smiling a little as I relished in the fact that Taehyung was thinking of me. Of course, I never stopped thinking of him. He was a constant pest in my brain.

"Did you hear me?" Mickey's voice once again snapped me away from my crush-filled thoughts.

"Huh? What?" I mumbled. She sighed, but a small smile appeared on her face as she closed her locker.

"Before we study, let's go get some food. Would you want to?" She asked me again.

"Sounds good to me." I smiled and soon we began to walk out the great doors of the school; the illustrious campus that my parents invested money into. Of course, Taehyung went here, but that was mainly my parents' doing. Since he was a long family friend, they thought he would do well here. But obviously, he turned a sly cheek to it.

The sun was out, the wind was crisp, and the way it felt like summer made me feel joyful. Mickey and I chatted happily as we exited the school grounds, our stomachs needing the sweet or smokey taste of foods. Ahead of us, Irene and her small group of friends were gossiping with excitement, her pouting red lips moving quickly as she chatted to a girl with pale blond hair.
