Ona's Perspective

"Why are we here?" Mickey asked as we rushed up the steps of the police station in downtown Seoul. Two cops were leading in a girl with raggedy black hair and a skirt that was too short for us being right behind them.

"I wanted to talk with Jackson." I mumbled, basically running up the steps and making Mickey struggle to keep up. I was in a desperate mood to gain more information on any progress Jackson had done, my patience with the whole investigation running thin. I usually was able to wait and see the outcome of things, but for this situation, my adrenaline spiked and I was in dire need to know something new every day. I had asked Jimin about this Office Wang, or Jackson, and he said they used to hang out here and there. I never knew about him, but Jimin seemed to trust him and that was good enough for me.

"Didn't he say he would call? We could be getting food now or blowing off homework and playing video games. Why can't we be normal college students?" Mickey groaned as they finally reached the steel doors.

"Because, he hasn't called in two days and I need answers." I sighed, pulling open the door with much force as the rush to know anything about Taehyung's charges being dropped tumbled in my mind. My heart was like a race car's engine as it beat hard against my rib cage and my breath was in quick little gasps; not from the race to get here but because anything to do with Taehyung's case drove me insane.

Its been a few days since Jungkook's news and I was all over the place since. I couldn't eat, couldn't really sleep as three hours was all I could really get. I missed the last skill evaluation at school, which caused my father to ring my phone and question me. He didn't know what was going on on this side of the fence, and for that, I was thankful. If my father knew anything about this, from me dating Kim Taehyung and him being titled a criminal, he would be infuriated beyond belief. The boys have been somewhat helpful as they tried to take my mind off of the current event. Jimin would take me to get lunch or Jungkook, Jin, and Hoseok would force me to play a game of Mario Kart to keep me distracted. Even with those activities, I was still a mess in my heart and mind.

"You know, patience is the key." Mickey joked as we walked in, almost stumbling into a group of officers that were talking among themselves as they headed out.

"Patience isn't going to get me answers." I said, maybe a little too harshly but I was determined at the moment. The foray of the building smelled of tobacco smoke and sounded of complaints and bored voices. It was like a library filled with people wearing badges and others being handcuffed.

"Ladies need something?" The main officer at the desk asked. His blue shirt was slightly wrinkled, his hair askew in some places as it held shades of caramel and chocolate brown, and his eyes were hidden behind thick rimmed glasses that could have made him the scribe of the place. His badge read 'Mark Tuan.'

"Officer Wang?" I questioned, leaning against the desk, almost like a puppy begging for scraps at the dinner table.

"He has a lot of paperwork. Is there a reason you need to see him now?" He lowered his glasses a bit, scrutinizing our faces. Mickey was too busy looking around to see this man giving us a bored look, but I was on full alert as I was getting antsy. I didn't like to push or demand, so I tried to play it nicely.

"I'm Park Ona. He knows me." I nodded, biting the inside of my cheek as he shook his head and leaned back, folding his arms. Well, he knows my brother, but I needed to get in.

"Officer Wang knows a lot of people. Doesn't mean he has time for them." He cleared his throat, looking down at the papers that were laid on his desk. As I watched him take a sip from his steaming, white mug, I inwardly groaned as I saw him write a word in a few boxes. He was doing a crossword puzzle. Seriously?
