Ona's Perspective

Chewing on the end of my pencil, I don't know what to think. The fact that Taehyung hasn't made some sort of communication in over week has me worried. I don't know what's happening, no one tells me anything, and the fact that I have midterms already in my classes is another huge slap to the face. I don't have time to worry about art projects. It just hasn't been worth it to care.

"Ona," I look up from the blank sketchbook, pencil slipping out of my fingers as I see Jin hovering over the back of the couch, lips in a straight line and eyes looking almost as tired as mine. We both shared the lilac prints that showed how stressed we were. "You've been sitting there for a good hour and a half, just staring at the paper. Why don't you just put it down and come to the coffee shop with me and Jimin?"

The sweet taste of coffee did sound like the perfect medicine, but I couldn't bring myself to wiggle out of my cozy corner that I've basically claimed for the past few days. I've never felt this drained in my whole life, as if an energy vampire came and sucked it all out of my body.

"I'll take a rain check." My voice was hoarse as well and I coughed a bit to clear it.

Jin sighed, hand on one hip and holding his hand out. "I didn't say no was an answer." Taking one look into his brown eyes and I knew he meant business. No one could say no to this man. Ever.

"But my art project?" I whined.

"What project? It doesn't seem like you have an idea of what to do. Which means you need to get some fresh air and loosen up a bit in order to think of something good. Go get some shoes on and meet us in the lobby downstairs." He offered me a small smile to show he wasn't trying to be too forceful before grabbing his coat near the door and leaving the apartment.

I felt like, besides Jin, I was the only one feeling the weight of stress when it came to Taehyung. Yoongi and Hoseok have been away for sometime, either working on music or sleeping, Namjoon was always with Sky, Jimin was out doing many things, and Jungkook enrolled back in school after Jin demanded him to. It's been too quiet in this house and when it was loud, it was over first person shooters. I guess everyone was just trying to not think about what was currently happening.

Sighing, I did what Jin requested and pulled on my shoes, trudging out to go meet them. Jin and Jimin sat in plush chairs in the lobby, talking quietly amongst themselves. As I came up to them, Jimin smiled lightly at me, his eyes turning into crescent moons as I gave him one back. I bet, out of the three of us, I looked the worst as I knew my eyes were blood shot and purple smudges underlined my under eyes. I should have put on some make-up, but that seemed like too much of an effort.

"There she is," Jin shot straight up and wrapped an arm around me. "Trust me, you need this."

"Yeah, Ona," Jimin chuckled, pressing a soft kiss to my forehead. He then looked down at me, giving me a look that agreed with Jin, basically saying 'you could use the light, you vampire'. "I will buy you anything you want today, so take advantage."

As we made our way out into the world, the bright light of the burning sun blinded me, making me cover my eyes with my arm and breath in the fresh air that I hadn't been surrounded by in a long time. I will admit, it did feel nice. Being couped up in the apartment was cozy, but I didn't realize how suffocating it was until I stepped outside. I needed this. For sure.

The boys led me down a few blocks, talking randomly about new songs and even where they wanted to go clothes shopping. I sat back and just listened to their voices as the coffee shop came into view, looking abandoned and quiet even though the streets were teeming with life.
