A/N - Don't murder me pls.

The two heroes step up to the door and Marinette ponders over her decisions before she gathers up the guts and knocks. It takes a few minutes before the door opens to reveal a small old man. Adrien's eyes immediately glue to the elderly man as he recalls the memory of when he helped me. That was the day he started his first official day of public school. He still mentally thanks Nathalie for letting him go.

"Ah, Ladybug," he nods his head in recognition and the ravenette gives him a nervous smile. "Chat Noir," the man acknowledges Adrien's presence and the model almost trips over himself as he looks toward the one Marinette called Master Fu.

"Master Fu," Marinette speaks up and the man looks at her with furrowed eyebrows. "We need your help."

"Yes," he nods, stepping aside so that the two teenagers can enter his home. "Come right in."

The both of them do as told and enter his home. Fu directs them towards a low-settled table and the three of them sit on their knees.

"What seems to be worrying you, my dear?" He asks and Marinette lets out a shaky breath.

"Tikki is missing. I can't summon her and I can't see her." Marinette rushes out and Master Fu frowns.

"What do you mean?" He asks. "You want to see her, right?"

"Yes, I do." She nods and the old man frowns even deeper at that.

"Well that's strange then." He scratches his head as he stands from the table and walks towards a small wooden box. He presses a part of it and it opens, revealing a compartment withholding a replica of the Volpina item as well as what seems to be a bee type of jewellery.

"What's he doing?" Adrien whispers to Marinette and she shakes her head, clueless.

"I know as much as you do."

"Clearly you know more, since you actually knew who this was." He gives a sloppy smile her way, but she ignores it as she continues to watch Master Fu quietly fumble with some items. Adrien lets out a sigh once he notices that she won't crack right now.

Well no duh, you broke her. Adrien shakes the thought away as Master Fu speaks.

"Come here my darling." Marinette stands up and walks towards the elderly man and Adrien follows behind her. Fu turns around to face the ravenette and he reaches up to her ear. "Ah, I see." He mutters.

"What's wrong? What do you see?" Marinette's nerves rise when he doesn't reply.

Master Fu sighs, turning towards the box once again.

"Your miraculous," Master Fu mutters and Marinette nods, urging him to continue. "It's broken."

"What does that mean?" Adrien asks and Fu turns back around to face the duo.

"It means that she can not summon Tikki, nor can she transform into Ladybug." Master Fu explains and Marinette lets out a small whimper.

"So this means I'll never see Tikki again?" She asks, clasping a hand over her mouth.

"No, no. We will be able to fix it." Fu reassures her quickly.

"We?" Adrien furrows his eyebrows together.

"Yes," Master Fu smiles softly just as a small green kwami flies out from behind him, "we."

"Hello Miss Marinette, I'm Wayzz."  The kwami speaks and Marinette looks up at the small creature. "I'll need you to hand over your miraculous for now."

Marinette nods her head slowly, reaching up and taking the small devices out of her ears. She hands them to Master Fu as a few tears slide down her face.

"I'm not sure how long it will take for us to heal the miraculous as we need special rare products to create the concoction needed, but Wayzz will deliver them to you as soon as they're fixed." Master Fu speaks softly as he places his free hand on the crying girl's shoulder. "Don't worry about anything. One question though. Did you cleanse the Akuma?"

Marinette lets out another sob as she shamefully shakes her head.

"She was knocked out when I got the Akuma out of her. And she couldn't have cleansed it anyway because she couldn't summon Tikki." Adrien explains and Fu lets out a sigh.

"This is bad," he mutters. Marinette's eyes widen. "Remember what happened last time?"

The two of them nod and Wayzz places his tiny hand against Marinette's forehead.

"It's okay, Miss Marinette. All you have to do is make sure no damage happens to the city while you're out of combat." Wayzz turns to Adrien. "You can help majorly. You still have your miraculous. Hi Plagg."

The small cat kwami flies out of Adrien's blazer and waves a paw at the turtle kwami. "Hi. You got any cheese here?"

"We really need you to put in all of your effort, okay Plagg?" Wayzz pats Plagg's shoulder and the small cat nods his head.

"Master Fu?" Marinette's voice cracks as she wipes her eyes.

"Yes?"

"What's happened to Tikki?" She asks. "If my miraculous is broken, is she okay? Is she in pain or worse - is she dying?" Marinette begins to panic until Adrien places his hand in hers. She settles down, despite her newfound sour mood towards him.

"Do not worry, Marinette. We will take care of it. All you have to do is stay positive." Fu reassures her and she nods. "Take her home please, Adrien." The blonde model nods his hand, tightening his grip around her hand as they begin to walk towards the door. Plagg flies towards Marinette and he floats in front of her tear-stained face.

"It's okay, Marinette. We'll get her back." Plagg whispers and Marinette offers a weak smile before Plagg flies into her blazer instead of Adrien's.

"Make sure she stays happy." Master Fu calls out after the pair and Adrien waves at him as they exit the house.

"Are you okay, Mari?" Adrien asks the fragile girl and she looks up at him with a sad look.

"Why would I be okay?" She asks. "I could've seriously hurt Tikki all because I let you and your words get to me." Tears pool back up in her eyes and Adrien frowns as the tears spill over once again.
