chapter 9

Daisha POV

  I just looked at him with tears in my eyes. Its like everything vanished in thin air but me and him.

Dae Dae: What the hell are you doing here. I thought you were dead.

Daisha: uuuhh idk.

I started stuttering real bad know. I felt sweat forming on my forehead.

Dae Dae: what do you mean you don't know. What? An angle from heaven bought you here. Daisha tell me why are you here or I'm calling mom.

He reached in his pocket and pulled out his phone.

Daisha/Chris/Red: NOO.

His head shot up at all of us and looked dead at Red.

Dae Dae: how the hell you know my sister and how did she get here

Red: uhm. We found her by a lake in the dark by her self.

He looked at me and Chris for approval then Chris looked at me also. I looked at both of them and shook my head as in yes.

Dae Dae: But still. How she get here.

Red was about to say something but I butted in.

Daisha: I told them that to take me. I hated home. Mom always took Taliahs side and you know it. When mom found out you were a drug dealer she didn't get it from just anybody. She got it from Taliah. Know you tell me if you liked at home with Taliah there.

By now Chris and Red Sat down and watch us.

Buddy sighed and walked up to me and bear hugged me. While I cried in his chest his was telling me 'It's OK.'

Daisha: please don't call mama.

Dae Dae: you at least have to tell. Do you like living with them.

Daisha: yea. Their just like you. Overly protective. Light skin.

Dae Dae: ight now. Don't try and act funny.

Chris: So what does this mean. Are you gonna call her mom.

Dae Dae: nahh. I know how mom is so I won't call.

Me, Red ,and Chris let out a deep sigh. 

Daisha: Thank you. 

Dae Dae: nahh it's cool.

Daisha: you know something.

Dae Dae: what.

Daisha: I forgot your real name.

He chuckled and looked at me.

Dae Dae: Daeshawn. Daeshawn Collins. Nice to meet you.

He stuck his hand out and I giggled. I grabbed his hand and shook it.

Daisha: Daisha. Daisha Collins. Nice to meet you too.
