Right after sixth period was over I rushed straight home, with the weight of my coat holding me back a bit. My pale complexion made my nose turn a reddish pink color. When I got to my house and unlocked the door, I threw my backpack down and headed for the kitchen where I knew I would find my mom. Right when I barged in she stopped midway from putting dishes in a box and looked at me like a deer caught in headlights. "Heyyyyy honey, how was school..???" she said ever so suddenly, then she ran up the stairs. She ran so fast the by the time I blinked she was up the stairs holding a rubber spatula. "I can explain", she said, looking like she's at a life and death situation, which she was. I just gave her a death glare and shook my head "Maria Louise Valentina Carter, what was going through your mind when you made this decision?". " I was hoping you wouldn't be mad, I thought I was doing what was best for us Liv. Just picture it: You, me in Los Angeles California, where stars are born. You know I always loved to sing.".
It was that point that I realized she was doing this to sing. My mom was known as Mary L, a famous 90's singer when she was young and reckless. That's how her and my dad met, but that's another story.
I sighed, my face softening, I looked up at her to see her looking at me with a desparate look on her face. " Do I atleast get my own room?".
The smile on her face was priceless, her award winning Mary L smile, the one that had gotten her on all the magazines. I laughed at her and she dropped the spatula mid-staircase and tackeled me to the floor in a hug.
"We are leaving tomorrow at noon, so make sure you have your stuff ready by then.". I was suprised, I barely realized it, Amanda. Matt.
What was going to happen to us?**~~~~*****
