Alec's p.o.v
"Bye guys, I should probably get going, my mom will be waiting for me" said Olivia as she stood up off the couch. The guys all said their goodbyes and I walked to where she was sitting, now finding myself on her old spot on the couch. Tate was looking at me. "What Tate?" I asked, "nothing nothing I guess I was just wondering why you're so cold towards Olivia, that's all" Tate said. Was he fucking kidding me? Why does he even care how I treat some girl? He never has before. "Why do you suddenly care about how I treat girls? You didn't seem to mind when you would flirt with girls right after me or when I would cheat on my girlfriends with other girls". He looked down, scratching the back of his neck, "Yeah but I guess this just feels different, those were just, ya know, girls, this is Olivia, she's one of us now. Besides I've never seen you act so mean to cute girls, usually your trying to sleep with them. But I guess I don't mind, this means you aren't trying to sleep with her, which is good, because I think I wanna give it a try and see what happens, ok?". I didn't know what to tell him, I mean what was I supposed to say? I couldn't explain what I felt, but something felt weird when he said that, maybe it was just the weed brownie I had earlier, idk. "She's not my fucking property BB2, go for it if you want. Or don't. I don't give a shit". He looked down at his beer and smiled. That twat.
My mom called me telling me she was going to stay out of town, and not come back like she had hoped, so the guys decided that since they had been drinking they might as well stay over. Hey we're guys but we can be responsible. They all climbed up to my room and went to my closet where they had their sleeping bags. You see, the guys and I go wayyy back, we've been best friends since we were in middle school, and they stay over pretty often, but it's been a while. They all have their designated bags, Alexanders is blue, Tate's is black, Taylor's is red, Nicky's is green and Ricky's is orange. After all the boys got out their seeping bags I noticed a last bag sitting all the way at the bottom, a gray one, that used to belong to a guy that was in the group. Jackson was part of our group too, but about a year ago something happened between him and Taylor's sister, and she pressed charges but they were dropped. Ever since, he moved out of town and we haven't heard from him since. Taylor seemed to notice what I was looking at, "It's been a year Alec, he's a bad guy, you know what he did to Jess, get rid of it". He was right, I had to get rid of it, but I never really understood how she could accuse him, he was my best friend out of all the guys, I never was really convinced that he was guilty. I lost my train of thought when I heard Tate groan, "Alec, our last sleep over was like months ago, then we got hot, we grew in all places including height bro. We don't fit in your tiny ass room". Shit, i looked at them trying to mush together on the floor. I thought about moving out my bed and sleeping in Jackson's old bag, but I knew I couldn't do that to Taylor. "Well what the hell do you expect me to do about it, call a contractor and make it bigger. Suck it up". "Hmm, I have an Idea", said Ricky as I saw him inching towards my window. What the- "PSSSSSTTT CARTER-ITAAAAAAA" Ricky screamed as I saw Olivia pulling open her curtains with a confused expression on her face. "Uhmmm, can I help you?" "Well you see sweetheart, we all had a tad too much to drink, and now that we grew up into gorgeous men we don't all fit in Alec's room. And we have this thing where we all like to stay within a 4 yard of each other so we can't pull shit on each other while we're sleeping and-", Olivia interrupted him "Ricky, get to the point. What do you want?". "Can some of us maybe climb over from the fallen avalanche that is Alec's room into the majestic scenery that i imagine your room to be? Only for the night, we'll be quiet so we don't wake up your parents". Olivia bit her lip, like she thought of something that brought her pain, but she said fine and the guys decided to send over just the twins.Olivia's POV
"...We'll be quiet so we don't wake up your parents", ouch. I was hurt that he brought up my dad, that he expected my family was perfect, but it wasn't his fault, he didn't know, and having two parents was a common thing. I looked at them, sighed, and nodded. They were bickering about who would come over to my room, and it was a full on war. "Tate sit your ass down, you can't go because you'll somehow convince her to let you sleep in her bed and we can't have you corrupting her innocence. Alexander you can't because i hate sleeping next to you and I'm going of course. And Taylor can't because... well... idk... what if he goes through her under wear drawer or stuff. I think it's only reasonable that Nicky and I go, given that we're the hottest and most gentlemen-y". The rest of the guys looked at Ricky like they were going to fight back but then they all kinda nodded like what he said was right. Wow, did I know how to pick friends or what?
The twins climbed over and looked around my room. They looked disappointed. "What?", I asked, "Well I guess we were just expecting your room to be cute or girly or well.. not this boring". "Sorry to disappoint, it's just I haven't had time to put all my stuff away yet, you know between detention and ditching". They nod apologetically, like if i they understood , and i laughed. "Well you know we're pretty good at setting stuff up. Our mom's an interior designer and she's been taking us on her trips ever since we could drink something other than her boob milk. We can help you sometime so your room looks good enough to bring friends in. Girl friends. Not guy friends. We're your only guy friends missy". I smiled and told them it would be super cool of them to help me sometime. With that's final thought the boys set up their bags. All the good nights were said, both from my room to Alec's room and my room to well- the people on my floor.
