I hopped out of the taxi handing the driver his money and walked towards the big building with my 2 suitcases. This was it, I am making a surprise visit to see my red headed boyfriend whom I have only seen in spurs of weekends in times before. I had lived in Texas most of my life and now I'm moving out to Washington to be with my boyfriend of a year, Max. I had arranged everything with Adam so everyone at the offices knows I'm going to be here, well besides Max. I pushed open the heavy doors, Emily quickly came to help and took my suitcases and put them behind a desk. I took a deep breath and navigated my way through the offices to find him. I turned a corner to see my boyfriend look up and in complete shock. he dropped his water bottle and I ran towards him. He stood about a foot taller than me when I'm wearing normal shoes.
"When did you get here?" He asked while my face was still buried in his chest.
"I landed this morning and thought I'd come surprise you." I smiled. He pulled away from the hug and gave me a quick kiss.
"Well it's about noon, lets go drop your stuff off at the apartment." He grabbed my hand and headed to the car. Like the gentleman he is and because of how much I absolutely did not want to, he carried my luggage to his car and we drove off to our new apartment.
time skip
When I had finally finished unpacking Max decided to take the rest of the day off to be with me. At the moment we were laying on the couch watching anime. I leaned my head on his shoulder and he draped his arm across mine. This is all I could hope for.
