Adriens POV~
I entered the class and sat down in my seat. I turned around briefly to see Marinette talking with Alya. I sighed deeply, oh how he wished he could go up to Marinette and hug her... To kiss her... My eyes then lay upon the empty spot where Nathanael usually sat. Satisfaction swept over me, good, that way he won't mess with my princess. I thought, a smirk inching its way across my face.
Class had begun and everything was calm,until a loud crash sounded from outside the classroom. Followed by a horrid battle cry,"MARINETTEE!"
My eyes widened, I immediately recognize that voice. The Evillustrator. The whole class turnes into chaos, as everyone starts running to seek shelter. My eyes quickly dart around the classroom. Where is Marinette?? Panic struck me as I desperately look around the room, trying to find the familiar bluebell eyes. My eyes then stop as I finally find her. She is out in the open, determination plastered on her face. My heart drops as I hear footsteps coming closer towards the classroom. I instinctively dart in front of Marinette. I hear her yelp in surprise. My feet are trained to the floor as I stand in front of her, Ready to fight if I had too. The classroom door bursts open as the Evillustrator comes walking in,with an evil grin on his face. The Evillustrators eyes soon find Marientte and Adrien and his smirk grows even bigger. "LEAVE MARINETTE ALONE!" I snarl, as I protectively stood in front of Marientte. "She belongs with ME!" The Evillustrator spat, glaring at Adrien. "You will have to fight through me to get to her then, because she's not going anywhere with you!! I retorted. Without any hesitation, I launched myself at the Evillustrator, wrestling him to the ground. Anger flashed through the Evillustrators eyes as he swung at Adrien. I dodge his blow as I then swing at him, my fist connecting to his jaw, sending him reeling backwards. I smirk, getting ready to launch myself at him once more. But the Evillustrator is quicker, as I launch myself at him he darts out of the way. Managing to send me flying to the left with a powerful kick against my ribs. I gasp and hit the brick wall, pain coursing through my back like wildfire. I grit my teeth and glare at the Evillustrator who was slowly approaching me. The Evillustrator draws a weapon on his tablet that he now holds menacingly by his side, he then liftes it up, ready to swing it at me. Fear spreads through me, making me shiver as I lay there stifly, waiting for the blow that was sure to come. Then I hear a shout. "LEAVE HIM ALONE!!" TAKE ME INSTEAD, I DONT CARE, JUST LEAVE HIM ALONE!! I crane my head to see Marinette, her face filled with fear, but her stance makes her seem determined, as if she was invincible. "MARINETTE NO!" I rasp, my words thick with emotion. The Evillustrator looks at me and doesn't even try to suppress his laughter as he says
"I'll leave him alone, but, YOU will have to come with me." He says to Marinette I'm About to interject when Marinette quickly responds."I will go with you then. Just. leave. Adrien. ALONE." She says. "Alright then." The Evillustrator says, his face glowing with happiness. The Evillustrator walks towards Marinette, as he then picks her up bridal style. I hear Marinette gasp at the sudden position as she fiercely clings her hands on to his neck. The Evillustrator then blushes, clearly enjoying the moment. They then swiftly run out of the school and into the the streets of Paris. "NOOOOOO!!!" I screech, running helplessly out of the school,trying to see where they were heading. Tears start streaming down my face as I grasp fistfuls of my hair in anger and despair. This is all my fault... If I hadn't caused Nathaniel to get akumatized, Marinette would still be here... More tears start pouring out as guilt sweeps through me. I cry out in agony, and frustration as I collapse on the concrete floor.
Then I snap. A burning determination flares through me. I clench my fist in rage. I stand up, my head held high as I narrow my eyes. I will bring you back princess, and he will pay for what he has done... I look towards the sky as I call out, "Plagg! Claws out!"
I actually finished it!! Ayy XD The next chapter should be out by tomorrow c:💜💜
