"Who's excited?" Lucie asks, enthusiastically as she leans in between our two seats, slapping booth of our arms. Lucie has been bouncing up and down in her seat because of two reasons;

1. It's her first time going out for quite a while.

And.

2. We are picking up Alyssa, Ella, Isabella, Tristan, Con and James.

Though she hasn't actually met the boys and Isabella in real life, she has been talking to them over skype for the past year and has been patiently waiting for this moment. They all love her a heap and I don't blame them, she's always so positive and bubbly even though all the stuff she's been through.

I really admire that about her. She's actually accepted the fact that this is what she's going to have to deal with and she is not changing because of it.

"Me!" Brad and I say in unison to keep her excited and we look at each other, laughing. Butterflies, the nerves, flushed cheeks and sweaty palms. I haven't felt this way around him since we met 3 years ago. It frustrates me that I completely wrecked what we had. If I didn't mess everything up we'd still be extremely comfortable around each other, no nerves, butterflies or sweaty palms.

I quickly wipe my palms on my jeans, awkwardly turning back out to the road as we approach the airport. She lets out a little squeal while Brad tries to find a parking space. Once he find the parking space we get out of the car and Lucie waits inside, anxiously. Brad pulls her wheelchair out of the back and we unfold it, taking it to the side of the car, opening the door for her. I reach into the car and go to lift her into the wheelchair but Brad stops me.

"It's alright I got her." He nods and I smile faintly, stepping out of the way for him. He lifts her with ease, placing her into the chair easily. He closes the door, locking the car and I grab onto the handles of her chair, pushing her out of the car park and we walk into the airport together.

I look down at her as we head in the direction as to where they are getting off the plane. She looks so skinny and pale. She looks like a completely different person to the brown tanned girl who went out surfing with her friends everyday. She was at a healthy weight before and certainly skinnier than me but she looks unrecognizable now.

"I can wheel myself you know." She tells me in a 'duh' tone and I frown. She does this everytime, tells us she can wheel herself and only lasts 5 minutes before nearly passing out.

"Fine. But only for a little bit. We don't want you collapsing before you get to see everyone." I tell her and she chuckles, quickly adjusting the wrap that she has on her head before taking the wheels and signalling me to let go. I let go and she keeps out our pace, pushing herself along.

"You know when I was a child I thought it was such an amazing thing to be wheeling around in a wheel chair. Like when I was 10 and I broke my leg playing Netball. Now... Now I just want tot get out of this damn thing." She tells us and I smile a little, looking back to when she was 10 and seeing the large smile on her face as she was getting pushed around the hospital.

I look down at my grubby converse as we all walk along the shiny floors of the airport, our feet speaking. I feel someone grab my hand and entwine their fingers with mine and I quickly look up, seeing Bradley smiling at me. I blush, biting my lip as a let out a chuckle, looking over to Lucie who i can tell is starting to get weary. It's not often that we go out with her like this so its tiring for her.

Mum is at work of course. No surprises there. We haven't talked since our argument last week. She gets home late and leaves early so we don't get too much time to see her though. Brad has been staying at our house for the last week until the others arrived so they would all stay in their house together. He insisted that he stayed because he didn't want me being home alone. Even though its been like that for just under a year.

"Uhm I'm getting a little tired now." Lucie says quietly and I let go of Brad's hand and start pushing her again. I feel a sudden pang of sadness go through me as we loose our touch but ignore it, proceeding in wheeling her.

We arrive at the exit area for their flight and on a large screen displayed above us it says that their flight has landed. We stand directly in front of the big door that they will walk out of along with about 10 other people.

People slowly pour out of the big doors and we all wait with anticipation for them. I see a big blonde bun, bobbing up and down and I recognise it as Ella. She pops her head out, scanning her eyes across everyone standing out her until her eyes meet mine. She jumps up and quickly turns around, probably to tell everyone that she saw us. I see the rest of them look our way and they all come sprinting towards us. Brad grabs my hand again and I don't have time to reacts before we are all engulfed into an enormous hug.

I hear the faint sound of Lucie laughing in between everyone. After about two minutes we are finally let go and I look around to all of them with a wide smile across my face. My best friends are here, each one of them standing right in front of me.

I can't hold it in and I let out a little scream at the realisation that they are right here. The girls come forward, engulfing me into a big hug again as we jump up and down, squealing. This is the first time in a while that I have been so purely happy. Besides when Bradley arrived but then I was more shocked and confused.

"I can't believe you guys are here! With me! And Lucie!" I say, looking down at Lucie who looks the happiest I've seen her for years.

The boys are in the middle of saying hi to Lucie and I go around, giving each of them a big hug. When I get to Tris he engulfs me tightly, whispering in my ear, "I've missed you're relationship advice." He tells me, making me laugh loudly. Everyone continues to talk to Lucie about things recently and seeing that big smile on her face warms my heart completely.

I walk back over to behind her chair, taking a hold of the handles once again. Someone shoves me to the side and grabs a hold of the handles in place of me.

"It's our turn to help around here Missy. That's what we're here for." I look to my right, seeing Isabella with a wide smile as she pushes Lucie along. I quickly thank her and continue to walk along while everyone else chats.

Isabella has been really great for Tristan over the past year. Since they started dating his mood has improved drastically. I remember when Tristan and Scarlett first broke up he was a wreck and it took a while to even get close to the original Tris. But ever since they met he's himself again and that's all we really wanted for him.

"You happy?" I hear from my side and I look over for my eyes to meet Brad's as he looks at me with a smile. "Very, very happy and relieved. Maybe I'll get a break now." I chuckle which makes him laugh. You know 'the feeling'? The butterflies that fill and flutter in your stomach? The huge, uncontrollable smile you do and can't help to stop? Better yet, to the point where you can't even say a single word because of it? The silly giddiness that takes over? The exciting feeling plus being overjoyed? Yeah, THAT feeling.

No one should settle for less than butterflies.

G'day guysss! I feel like such a terrible author because i legit have not updated in like 2 months. The last few months i have had quite a big workload at school and i have hardly even had the time to check on my reads. i have been quite stressed out lately to say the least.

So i hope you all forgive me and i can express how much i love your ongoing support with writing The Moon and now it's sequel.

Another quick message...

I just wanted to let anyone that is going through a tough time with their family or their schooling or issues with friends that you can most certainly come to me. I find for me when i help people out with their problems and give them advice it helps me push away mine and feel a bit more human i guess.

I dont know... lol

Anywayyyssss I hope you all liked this chapter and you all have a jolly good life (omg i sound ridiculous)
