The more and more I spend time with you, the more and more I realise I am doing the one thing I told myself I would never do again... Fall in love.

<> Skylar's P.O.V <>

I pull out my phone, pulling up Lucie's contact and beginning to write a text. I am still very worried about her. I don't like not knowing how she is at any second. My texting is interrupted by the doorbell ringing, making me jump.

I let out a sigh, putting my phone down and standing up, walking to the front door. I open the door, revealing a smiling Bradley. Oh right yes I almost forgot about this whole 5 day long thing that he has organised for me.

"Hello Miss Skylar Prescott. I come bearing junk food and some sappy rom-coms!" He announces, marching into the room with two bags full of stuff. "Oh well great that's just what I need." I laugh, shutting the door and turning to him.

"Follow me!" He shouts, strutting into the lounge room as I follow him in laughter. "Okay so what movies do you come bearing?" I ask him, sitting down on the lounge.

"Well I have 500 Days of Summer, Love Actually, Sleepless in Seattle, Princess Diaries 1 and 2, The Notebook, If I Stay and some more but those are the good ones." He tells me, pulling them all out and I gasp, looking at the pile of movies.

"Wow okay hmmmm... Well I'm going to have to say that we need to watch both of the Princess Diaries movies, Sleepless in Seattle and Love Actually. How does that sound?" I ask him as I pull those 4 movies apart from the others.

"Sounds like good choices. As long as you're happy with them." He smiles, grabbing the first Princess Diaries movie and putting it in the DVD player. He grabs a big blanket, walking back to the lounge, chucking the blanket on top of me. They cover me, making my vision black and I rip them off me, poking my tongue out to him.

He chuckles, taking one end of the blanket and pulling it over him. "By the way, before we start the movie I just wanted to let you know about Lucie. The nurses gave her permission to leave today so they others have taken her out shopping for the day." He tells me and I smile nodding, trying my best not to freak out about the fact that she's going out without me.

"No you know what I'm not going to worry. I trust the guys and girls they will look after her. I need to make the most of today and just relax." I tell him, lying back as the movie begins. We begin to get comfortable and I start to get very engrossed into the movie.

"This is my favourite movie from my childhood." I say, my eyes fixated on the screen. I hear the click of the front door and my attention is drawn from the movie. Brad pauses it and I get up from the lounge, walking out into the entrance hallway.

I see my Mum outing her bags down with her keys. I frown a little at the sight of her. She looks a mess and I haven't seen her since we had our argument. "Mum." I say bluntly, still undeniably mad at her.

She turns around slowly with a look of shame on her face. "Hi honey." She says quietly, avoiding looking into my eyes. "You know that not looking at me isn't going to fix anything." I cross my arms over my chest.

"I've been staying at Nonna's house because I didn't think you would want to see me." She tells me and I bite my lip, trying not to say something too harsh and out of proportion. "Mum you can't just run away from all of your problems like this!" I sass and she looks to the corner of the room.

"Mum what's going on with you?" I ask her as she stays in silence. She shuffles between her feet and I begin to feel the separation from us. I used to be able to look at her and tell what she was feeling but not anymore.
