<> Skylar's P.O.V <>

"Oh stop complaining its the last one we need to look at today!" I keep my eyes focused on my phone. I have been ignoring Bradley's impatient moans for 10 minutes now as I try to focus on what I'm doing - reading about the next potential home for Brad and me.

"And you know what I have a good feeling about this one." I hold my finger up to him, trying to make a point. So far today we have looked at 2 houses and 3 apartments, I totally understand him as my energy level has dropped drastically since this morning.

"What does it say about this one?" He gestures to my phone, looking at me briefly before turning his head to face the road. I focus on the phone, looking over all the details.

"Alrighty, it's a house with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms - one of them being an ensuite - a single car garage, a laundry, kitchen, dining room, living room, you know all the basics," I explain and he nods as if he likes the sound of it.

"Sounds nice, where do I go next?" He looks around the roads and I point to a street sign.

"It's just down that street to the left there," I say and he turns the car. I observe all the houses that are lined along the sides of the street. All the houses are very well looked after which gives me a bit of hope. This one isn't in a dodgy part of the suburb, unlike some of the other houses we've looked at.

"It's number 18," I tell him, paying attention to all the letterboxes. As much as this day has been very long and tiring I continue to feel a rush of adrenaline through me as we approach every potential home. There's something about this experience that makes me feel giddy. I'll be able to live with the person I love and we can do our things together like, pay bills, clean the house, do the laundry, make dinner. Though I did a lot of that with the girls at our house something about this makes me feel more grown up and independent.

Brad stops the car in front of the house and we both peer out the window curiously. The house sits behind a big patch of green grass, a stone path leading from the white gate that surrounds the house all the way to the front porch. The roof reaches up quite high despite the fact that the house is only one story tall. Certain parts of the front of the house are more forward and they are covered in grey stone whereas everything else is covered in white slats. Where there is stone two long, tall windows cover the walls.

"Come on let's go in and see what it's like." Brad interrupts my thoughts as he climbs out of the car. I follow his actions, slinging my bag over my shoulder as I step out, shutting the door behind me. Brad locks the car and I walk forwards and place my hand on the white picket gate, opening it with a click and holding it open for Bradley. As he walks past me he smacks my butt and I gasp, letting out a laugh as I follow behind him. He turns to me and smiles, the crinkles next to his eyes showing which makes my heart flutter.

He holds his hand out to me and I grab it with mine as we walk up the steps to the front porch. He rings the doorbell as I look around, noticing that there are big green shrubs sitting under each window with small white flowers scattered over them.

The front door opens with a loud click, revealing a petite woman who must be in her 60's. She gives us a welcoming smile, holding a clipboard close to her chest.

"Hello! You must be Skylar and Bradley!" She grins and I squeeze Brad's hand.

"Yes we are and you must be..." I look to the small nametag on her blouse, "Kathy." I say, holding my hand out for her to shake it. Brad copies my movements, shaking her hand after me. It's quite weird having to act all professional in these situations because we don't have to act too professional with our music careers. She pushes her thick purple glasses up her nose and steps out of the way, letting us into the house.

The house feels warm and welcoming when we step inside. The first room she takes us into is the master bedroom. It's very big with a king size bed in the middle of it. The bedhead is against a large wall painted in a charcoal colour. There are two doors going off the room, one leading to an ensuite and another leading to a walk in wardrobe. The ensuite is very big with a shower, two sinks and a toilet and the wardrobe is also very big with enough room for Bradley and I's clothes.

Next, she takes us to the garage where Brad goes on about how we can easily park our cars in the driveway so that he and the boys can set up their band equipment in there. He seems to finally like one of the houses.

I'll spare you the boring details of the rest of the house tour as it does take a while. We finish up in the backyard where there is a large wood deck complete with an outdoor kitchen and seating area. Off the deck is a big rectangle pool that is lit by blue lights and surrounded by a glass fence. There is also a lot of grass area beyond that which causes Brad to nudge me.

"I reckon there's enough room for a dog or two out there." He points to the yard and I look up to him, breaking into a grin. I've always wanted a dog but never had one because my Mum was allergic to them.

"Sorry, could we just have a quick talk over here." I turn to Kathy and she nods, looking down to her clipboard as we walk off into the yard.

"I love it. I think this is the house." Brad says quickly and I stop him.
"Brad I love it too but we need to think about this. It's a massive decision that we have to make we can't just say we want it without much thought." I tell him and he sighs.

"Well then let's think about it now. There's three bedrooms, one for us and two more for raising a family," He begins and my heart flutters at the thought of raising a family with him, "The house is right near where everyone else lives, its near schools and shops, we can afford it, we can maybe get a dog or two, we both love it. What else is there to think about?" He holds both of my hands tightly, looking right into my eyes. I look into his eyes, trying to stand my ground but his eyes continue to beg.
In my mind, I think of a lot of things that there are to think about but this is a battle that he's already won, "Okay." I try to hide my smile and his eyes widen.

"Really?" He asks, shocked.

"Yesssssss." I drag on, rolling my eyes as I admit defeat. He bursts into a grin, pulling me into a tight embrace. His giddiness makes me burst into a grin like his as he lets go of me and we walk over to Kathy.

"We'll take it," Bradley says quickly with a large smile spread across his face. Kathy breaks into a smile as well, holding her clipboard close to her chest.
