*Brandon's POV*
She's Going To Fall Back For Him. I Just Know It. What Does He Have That I Don't? Sure He Was Born Into Money And Has A Pot To Piss In, But Is That Enough?
I Paced Back And Forth In My Studio Apartment As I Called Amayah For The Fourth Time Today. We've Barely Spoken Since She Told Me She Was Pregnant, And I Know That Partially It Was My Fault. Okay...Maybe It Was Fully My Fault, But What Can I Say? The Girl Of My Dreams Is Having Another Man's Baby And I Can't Do Anything But Accept That. Then Again...Maybe I Can Do Something About It. I'm Not Gonna Let That Guy Take Her Away From Me. Not This Time. I Dialed A Number And Waited For Someone To Answer.
"Mayor Adkins Office." A Female Voice Answered.
"Yes...I Need To Speak To The Mayor Please. It's Urgent." I Said.
"The Mayor Is Very Busy, But I Can Take A Message." He Said.
"This Is Very Important. It Can't Wait." I Said.
"What's This About Sir?" The Woman Asked.
"This Is About Amayah Washington." I Said.
"Please Hold." She Said. Some Music Came On As I Sat Down On My Black Leather Couch.
"Sir Are You There?" The Woman Said.
"Yes I'm Here." I Said.
"Mayor Adkins Would Like To Meet You For Lunch In The Next Half Hour." She Said.
"Okay Great." I Said.
"He Said The Eastland Cafe At Three." She Said.
"I'll Be There." I Said. I Hung Up And Sent Amayah A Text.
Me: Amayah...I'm Sorry About What I Said And How I Reacted. I Deserve This Silent Treatment, But I Have A Plan To Get Everything Back To The Way It Was. Trust Me. I Miss You.

*Amayah*I Have To Fly To San Francisco In The Next Few Days To Start Filming On A New Movie And I Can't Wait To Get A Change Of Scenery. It'll Be Good For Me And Jazz To Get Away. I Also Can't Wait To See My Mom. I Miss That Crazy Lady Terribly.
I Was Going Over My Lines Until I Heard Jazz Crying In Her Bedroom. I Swear This Little Girl Can Never Take A Full Blown Nap. I Walked Into The Room And Picked Her Up. She Cried Harder As She Pointed Towards The Door.
"Da! Da! Da!" She Cried.
"Daddy's Not Here Baby. He'll Be Back Soon." I Said. She Laid Her Head On My Shoulder And Cried. I Felt Her Head And Noticed She Was Feeling Warm. Ugh! Yet Another Thing I Have To Deal With. I Carried Her Downstairs, Got Her Some Juice, And Turned On Some Cartoons. I Then Went To Get My Phone So I Could Call Liam And Tell Him To Get Her Some Medicine, But I Noticed I Had A Text From Brandon.
Me: I Forgive You, But What's Your Plan?
Brandon😍❤: Do You Trust Me?
Me: Of Course.
Brandon😍❤: Good. Then Trust Me When I Say I Got This.
Me: Tell Me What You Got Planned.
When Brandon Didn't Text Back, I Called Liam, But His Phone Was Going Straight To Voicemail. Ugh Great! I Guess I'll Just Go To The Store When Liam Gets Back. Jazz Crawled Into My Lap And Laid Her Head On My Chest While I Continued Going Over My Lines. I Heard Soft Snores As I Looked At My Beautiful Daughter And Smiled. She's Such A Cutie.
I Ended Up Dozing Off With Jazz In My Arms, But I Woke Up When I Heard The Doorbell Chime. I Gently Slid Jazz Off Of Me And Went To Answer The Door. Two Male Police Officers Were Standing There As I Looked At Them.
"Good Afternoon Ma'am." One Said.
"Can I Help You?" I Asked.
"There's Been A Reported Break In Here. Are You The Owner Of This House?" The Other Policeman Asked.
"No. My Child's Father Is The Owner." I Said.
"Mhm. What's His Name?" He Asked.
"Liam Adkins." I Said.
"Do You Happen To Have His Number?" They Asked. I Nodded And Went To Retrieve My Phone. By This Time, Jazz Was Sitting Up Playing In Her Hair. I Grabbed My Phone And Then Grabbed Her. We Walked Back To The Door As I Gave The Police Officers Liam's Number.
"His Phone Has Been Going To Voicemail Though So Good Luck." I Said. One Police Officer Looked Me Up And Down Before Walking Away To Call Liam. I Rolled My Eyes At Him As The Other Policeman Started Asking Me Questions.
"Look What's All This About? I Already Told You That My Child's Father Owns This House And We've Been Staying Here!" I Said, Getting Clearly Irritated.
"Calm Down Ma'am. This House Doesn't Belong To Liam Adkins. This Home Belongs To Maxwell And Cheyenne Adkins." He Said. And There It Is! I Dialed Liam's Phone Myself, But Again...It Went Straight To Voicemail.
"Wow...Okay Then. Well I'm Sorry...I Didn't Know. I'll Pack Up Me And My Daughter's Things And We'll Leave." I Said.
"That Won't Be Necessary." One Of The Officers Said. He Grabbed Jazzlynn From My Arms And Handed Her To The Other Police Officer. He Then Grabbed My Wrist, Put The Cuffs On Me, And Started Reading Me My Rights.
"What The Fuck? What Did I Do?" I Yelled.
"Breaking An Entering. Mr. Adkins Wasn't Aware That You Were Staying Here. He Wants To Press Charges." He Said. I Looked Over At Jazz And She Was Screaming To The Top Of Her Lungs.
"Wait No! I Can't Leave My Baby!" I Cried. I Was Running Towards Jazz, But The Officer Yanked Me Away.
"Please Let Me Call Her Dad! Let Me Call Someone!" I Begged. He Ignored Me And Shoved Me Into The Back Of The Car. He Slammed The Door As I Cried Harder. I Swear On My Life...If Anything Happens To My Daughter Then I Will Kill The Adkins. Literally...I Will KILL Them!
