*Liam*

I Wasn't Planning On Leaving The House Today, But Amayah Begged Me To Go To This Bakery Across Town And Get Her Some Cupcakes. I Ended Up Breaking Down And Going To Get Her Some, But She Better Not Ask Me To Anything Else For The Rest Of The Day.

When I Got Back Home, I Noticed My Mom's Car Sitting In The Driveway And I Was Furious! Amayah Really Doesn't Know How To Leave Things Alone! I Know Her Intentions Are Good, But She Needs To Let Me Get Over Everything Before I Try And Mend Things. I Wanted To Leave, But I Decided Against It. I Guess I'll Face My Mother Today. I Walked Into The House And It Was Quiet.

"Amayah?" I Called Out. My Mom Came Around The Corner And Looked At Me.

"Hi Liam." She Said.

"Hey Cheyenne." I Said, Dryly. I Walked Passed Her And Walked Into The Kitchen.

"Where's Amayah And Jazz?" I Asked.

"Jazz Is Upstairs Asleep, And Amayah Wasn't Feeling Well So I Sent Her To Bed." She Said. I Nodded As I Sat The Sweets Down On The Stove.

"So...What's Up?" I Said.

"Let's Sit Down." She Said. We Sat Down And Everything Got Quiet. Something Was Telling Me To Go Check On Amayah And Jazz, But I Ignored It.

"So?" I Said, Breaking The Silence.

"We Should Go To The Park And Talk. You Know...Like We Use To Do When You Were A Little Boy." She Said.

"No We'll Talk Right Here." I Said. She Shook Her Head.

"Still So Stubborn I See. Just Like Your Father." She Said. I Quickly Stood Up.

"Out! Get Out!" I Yelled. She Sighed And Stood Up.

"Calm Down Liam." She Said. I Sighed As We Sat Back Down. I Heard Something In The Distance.

"Are You Happy Liam?" My Mom Said.

"Huh?" I Said, Rubbing My Ears Vigorously.

"I Said...Are You Happy?" She Said.

"Yes Mom. I'm Very Happy." I Said. She Frowned.

"Really? Liam...You're Living A Normal Life. How Can You Possibly Be Happy. You're Living In That Girl's Shadow And Taking Care Of Her Kids." She Said. I Sighed In Frustration. Here We Go With This Shit Again!

"Her Name Is Amayah And She Is My Wife Now! Her Kids Are My Kids As Well, And I Am Not Living In Her Shadow! I Actually Wanted A Normal Life And So Does She." I Snapped.

"You Could've Had A Wonderful Life With Jessica, Liam. By The Way...She Gave Birth. His Name Is Ryan." She Said.

"Okay So? You Want Me To Be With Jessica And My Little Brother?" I Said.

"Don't Think Of Him As Your Brother Liam. Raise Him As Your Son." She Said, Grabbing My Hand. I Snatched My Hand Away.

"I Thought We Were Pass This! Mom I Am MARRIED! If You Can't Accept That Then...There's The Door." I Snapped. I Heard That Sound Against As I Looked At My Mom.

"What Is That Noise?" I Asked.

"What Noise?" She Asked. She Looked Nervous. We Then Heard A Loud BOOM! I Took Off Running Upstairs And She Ran Behind Me.

"Liam! Liam Stop!" She Yelled. I Ran Into The Room And Saw Amayah Tied Up And Laying Face Down On The Floor. I Turned Around And Jumped Back When My Mom Tried To Hit Me With A Metal Stick.

"What The Fuck!" I Said.

"If You Won't Live The Life I Want You To Live, Then You Won't Live At All!" She Yelled. She Swung The Stick, Trying To Hit Me Again, But I Grabbed It And Shoved Her Back. I Pushed Her Into The Hallway Until Her Back Hit The Railing. She Grabbed My Face And Dug Her Nails Into It, Which Cause Me To Shove Her Harder. What Happened Next Was Completely Out Of My Control. My Mom Fell Backwards And Landed On The Glass Table That Was Downstairs. My Breathing Was Heavy As I Looked Over The Railing At My Mom's Lifeless Body. I Shook My Head As I Limped Back Into The Bedroom To Untied Amayah. I Lifted Her Up On To The Bed, Took The Tape Off Of Her Mouth, And Untied Her Arms And Legs.

"Are You Okay?" I Asked. She Started Coughing As She Nodded Her Head.

"I'm Fine." She Said. I Kissed Her Forehead And Held Her In My Arms.

"Wait Where's Jazz?" Amayah Said Jumping To Her Feet. She Hurried Into Jazz's Room And Noticed That Jazz Was Still Fast Asleep.

"She Slept Through The Whole Thing." I Said. Amayah Sighed As She Stood Up To Hug Me.

"I'm Sorry. You Warned Me About That Crazy Bitch And I Brushed You Off. I Just Wanted You To Have Some Peace." She Said. I Kissed Her Lips.

"I Know. You're Intentions Were Good And I Love You For That. Some People Just Won't Ever Change." I Said. She Nodded. I Grabbed My Phone And Dialed 911 While Amayah And I Headed Downstairs. My Mom Still Didn't Move And I Was Starting To Think She Was Dead.

"You Think She Dead?" Amayah Asked. I Shrugged My Shoulders.

"Hopefully She Is So She Can Join Her Husband In Hell." I Murmured.

The Police Arrived Ten Minutes Later Along With An Ambulance And The Fire Department. I'm Not Sure Why The Fire Department Is Here, But Whatever. Amayah Was Giving The Officers A Statement, While I Had Jazz In My Arms Watching The Paramedics Check My Mom Out. I Just Shook My Head And Walked Over To Amayah.

"He Said I Might Need To Go To The Hospital. There's No Telling What She Put In My Drink To Make Me Pass Out." Amayah Said.

"Okay I'll Take You." I Said. She Nodded And Headed Upstairs To Get Her Shoes.

"Well...Mrs. Adkins Appears To Still Be Alive, But Only Barely. Are You Sure You Still Want To Press Charges?" The Officer Asked.

"Very Sure." I Said. He Nodded And Walked Away. Hopefully They Lock Her Crazy Ass Up Forever. I Refuse To Put My Family Through Anymore Bullshit!
