Jazz And I Were At Home Cooking Dinner Together While We Waited On Amayah To Come Home. We Were Finally Settled Into Our New Home That Amayah's Parents Bought For Us As A Wedding Present. I Didn't Like The Fact That They Bought Us A House, But I Couldn't Do Anything About It.

After The Wedding, Amayah And I Went On A Three Day Honeymoon To Florida. We Decided Not To Go Anywhere Far Until After Our New Baby Was Born. We Spent A Majority Of Our Time In Miami, Sight Seeing And Having Fun On The Beach. Once We Got Back, Amayah Had To Go Back To San Francisco To Finish Up Her Movie, While I Stayed Home And Spent Some Quality Time With Jazz.

"Eat Eat!" Jazz Whined.

"The Food Is Almost Done." I Said. She Whined As She Grabbed My Leg And Held On To It. She's Been Doing That A Lot Lately.

"Cut It Out Jazz." I Said, Laughing. She Laughed Too. I Heard The Front Door Open And Jazz Quickly Got Up And Ran To The Door.

"Maaa Maaa!" Jazz Said.

"Hi Baby!" Amayah Said. She Walked Into The Kitchen And I Gave Her A Kiss.

"Welcome Home Babe." I Said.

"It's Good To Be Home. What You Cooking?" She Asked.

"Hamburger Helper. I've Never Had This Before, But Your Mom Told Me To Just Follow The Directions On The Back Verbatim." I Said. She Laughed.

"You Called My Mom For Cooking Advice? That's Cute." She Said Laughing. I Laughed Too. I Made Everyone's Plate And We All Sat Down At The Table. We Said Our Grace And Then Started Eating.

"Blow On Your Food Jazz. It's Hot." I Said. Jazz Started Blowing On Her Food And Fanning It.

"It Hot!" She Said. I Chuckled And Nodded.

"So Have You Talked To Your Mom?" Amayah Asked. I Shook My Head. I Haven't Spoken To My Mom Since My Dad's Funeral. He Died A Week After The Wedding And Amayah Made Me Go To His Funeral. I Refused To Talk To Anyone But My Wife And Grandparents. Everyone Else Got The Cold Shoulder. A Few Weeks Later, We Saw My Mom Again At The Reading Of The Will And She Tried Her Hardest To Talk To Me, But I Ignored Her. I Can't Get Over What She And My Dad Did.

"Liam...Just Please Talk To Her. I Could Tell She Was Pissed Off When Your Dad Admitted To Impregnating Jessica. She Had Nothing To Do With This." She Said.

"Amayah I'm Not Finna Go Through This With You Again. Just Dropped It!" I Snapped. She Sighed As She Got Up.

"You Didn't Even Touch Your Food." I Said.

"I'm Not Hungry." She Said As She Went Upstairs. I Shook My Head And Sighed. Great...Now I'm The Bad Guy....AGAIN!

I Was Soaking In A Warm Bubble Bath As I Rubbed My Stomach. I Know I Should Be Happy That Liam Has FINALLY Cut The Umbilical Cord From His Parents, But The Truth Is...I Wasn't Happy. When Mr. Adkins Passed Away, I Could Tell Liam Was Hurt, But He Was Still So Angry. I Don't Blame Him Though. I'd Be Angry As Well If My Parents Did Some Messed Up Shit Like That! I Keep Trying To Remind Myself Of All The Petty Things Mr. And Mrs. Adkins Have Ever Done To Me And Jazz, But Then Again...I Don't Care. I Forgave Them Both A Long Time Ago, And Now...It Was Time For Me To Help Liam Do The Same.

The Next Day, I Invited Liam's Mom Over To The House. I Had To Send Liam On A Quick Run To The Bakery Though Because I Was Craving A Cupcake, But I Also Needed Him Gone Long Enough For His Mom To Get Here.

I Had Just Put Jazz In Bed For Her Afternoon Nap When The Doorbell Rang. I Quickly Hurried To The Door And Answered It.

"Hi Mrs. Adkins. Come In." I Said.

"Thank You. Your Home Is So Beautiful." She Said.

"Thank You." I Said. I Led Her Into The Kitchen And Was About To Put On Some Tea For Her, But She Grabbed The Pot From Me.

"No, No. You Have A Seat And Leave The Tea To Me." She Said. I Nodded And Took A Seat.

"So Where's Jazz? I Brought Her Some Dresses And Toys." She Said.

"Oh...She's Upstairs Taking A Nap." I Said.

"Well Let Her Get Some Beauty Sleep. Where's Liam?" She Asked.

"He Ran To The Bakery To Get Some Cupcakes For Me. My Cravings Are Terrible." I Said. She Frowned For A Minute And Then Smiled Again.

"You Shouldn't Poison Your Baby With Sweets And Sugar My Dear." She Said, As She Poured Me A Glass Of Tea.

"Sugar?" She Asked.

"Yes Please." I Said. She Nodded As She Made Up My Tea. She Handed Me My Cup And Sat Down Next To Me.

"So...How's The Pregnancy Going?" She Asked.

"Good. Three More Months Left." I Said, Taking A Sip Of My Drink.

"That's Great. Jessica Gave Birth Two Weeks Ago. She Called Me To Tell Me Like I Cared. She Named Him Ryan Maxwell Adkins." She Said, Shaking Her Head. I Shook My Head As Well.

"Well...I'm Glad She Had A Healthy Pregnancy." I Said.

"I Guess. She Begged Me To Raise The Baby Because She Didn't Want It, But I Refuse To Raise My Stepson!" She Hissed. I Sipped My Tea Like Kermit As I Looked At Her. My Head Was Started To Hurt Bad As I Sat My Cup Down.

"Are You Okay?" She Asked.

"Yeah...I-I...I'm Fine." I Said.

"Maybe You Should Go Lay Down." She Said. I Stood Up From The Table And Collapsed On The Floor.

"Oh My God! Amayah!" Mrs. Adkins Said. That Was The Last Thing I Heard Before I Blacked Out.
