When I Was Brought In, I Got To Make One Phone Call And Of Course...I Called My Mom. She Was Livid As She Told Me She Was On Her Way Here So Now...All I Have To Do Is Wait.
The Door Opened And A Woman Walked In Holding Two Cups Of Coffee.
"Hello Miss Washington. I'm Detective Valdez." She Said, Handing Me A Cup Of Coffee.

"Thanks." I Said, Taking A Sip Of The Coffee.
"So Tell Me What's Going On." She Said.
"Is My Daughter Okay?" I Asked.
"Yes...She's Fine. She's With CPS Right Now." She Said.
"Oh God No! I Want Them To Give Her To My Mom When She Gets Here. Please! I Don't Care What Happens To Me, Just Get My Baby." I Said.
"I'll See What I Can Do, But First...Tell Me What's Going On." She Said.
"I Really Don't Know." I Said, Honestly. I Then Told Her The Events That Happened An Hour Ago. She Just Nodded Her Head And Wrote Down Something In Her Notepad.
"Did You Know That Estate Belonged To The Adkins?" She Asked.
"No." I Said.
"Do You Know Maxwell And Cheyenne Adkins?" She Asked Me.
"Kinda Sorta." I Said.
"What Does That Mean?" She Asked.
"Their Son Liam Is My Daughter's Dad." I Said. She Cocked Her Head To The Side.
"Really? So...They Know You?" She Asked. I Nodded.
"Hm...According To Them...They've Never Seen You Before. They Got An Anonymous Tip From Your Driver. Mr. Brandon Thomas." She Said. My Eyes Widened. Brandon Ratted Me Out? No...He Wouldn't Do Me Like That.
"That's Bullshit! Brandon Wouldn't Go Against Me Like That And Mr. Adkins Is Setting Me Up Because Of That Altercation Between Us Got Leaked To The News, And He Was Suspended As Mayor!" I Said.
"What Altercation?" She Asked. I Sighed Irritably.
"Look It Up On YouTube Lady!" I Said. She Pulled Out Her Phone And Looked It Up. A Few Minutes Later, She Looked Up At Me And Shook Her Head.
"I Apologize Miss Washington. You Were Telling The Truth." She Said, As She Stood Up.
"Exactly! Can I Leave Now?" I Asked.
"Let Me Go Talk To My Boss. Wait Right Here." She Said. Well Where Else Could I Go? I Was Handcuffed To The Damn Table!
Ten Minutes Later, Detective Valdez Came Back Into The Room And Took The Handcuffs Off Of Me.
"Follow Me." She Said. I Rubbed My Wrists As I Got Up And Followed Her To The Lobby. My Mom Was Waiting On Me, As I Ran Up And Hugged Her.
"Are You Okay?" She Asked. I Nodded.
"Where's Jazz?" I Asked.
"CPS Is On The Way To Bring Her." Detective Valdez Said.
"Oh Okay. Thank You." I Said. She Nodded As The Door Came Open And Liam Ran In.
"Amayah! Oh God Are You Okay?" He Asked. I Nodded As He Pulled Me Into A Hug.
"Where's Jazz? Is She Alright?" He Asked. I Nodded.
"She's Fine. She's Coming." My Mom Said.
"Oh Good." Liam Said. I Pulled Him To The Side And Crossed My Arms.
"I Can't Do This Anymore Liam." I Said.
"Do What?" He Asked.
"I Can't Talk To You Anymore. I Have To Do What's Best For Jazz And This New Baby, And That's To Leave You Alone." I Said.
"Amayah No!" He Said.
"Liam Please Let Me Finish." I Said.
"Absolutely Not! I Understand You're Upset About All Of This, But I Dealt With My Parents And They Cut Me Off! They Gave Me An Ultimatum To Choose Between You And Them...I Chose You." He Said. I Was Stuck. Was He Serious?
"Really?" I Said. He Nodded.
"Amayah...You, Jazz, And This New Baby Are My Family Now. I Love You." He Said. I Smiled.
"I Love You Too." I Said. He Leaned In To Kiss Me, But We Stopped When The Door Opened And A Woman Walked In With Jazz. She Squealed When She Saw Me And I Quickly Ran Up To Her, Picked Her Up, And Hugged Her Tight. I Kissed Her And Held Her Tight. She Giggled As She Hugged Me And Then Reached For Liam.
"Ugh No Jazz! Love On Mommy For A Change." I Said. She Whined And Reached For Liam.
"She Loves Me More." Liam Said. I Frowned.
"Whatever!" I Said.
"Come On You Two. Let's Go." My Mom Said.
