*Amayah*

The Next Day, I Was Running Around With My Mom, Amia, And Jazz As We Went To Get Stuff Done For The Wedding.

"What Are Your Wedding Colors?" Amia Asked.

"Black And White." I Said.

"Ohhh Because Your Black And He's White?" She Said.

"Exactly." I Said.

"That's Actually A Brilliant Idea! I Like That." My Mom Said. We Walked Into The Bridal Boutique And We Were Immidiately Greeted.

"Hello Ladies. Champagne?" She Asked. My Mom Nodded And Grabbed A Glass. My Little Sister Tried To Grab A Glass, But My Mom Slapped Her Hand.

"Ow Mom!" She Whined.

"That's Grown Folks Drink." She Said.

"And For You Ma'am?" She Asked Me.

"No Thanks." I Said. She Nodded As She Escorted Us To A Private Area.

"So Miss Washington. Tell Me What Your Ideal Wedding Is." She Said.

"Well...I Want It To Be By Stella York Because Her Dresses Are Amazing! I Also Want Something Long, But Not Train Long. Lace Is Optional, But I Want The Dress To Cover This Baby Bump Also." I Said. She Nodded As She Wrote Everything Down.

"Alright. I'm Going To Go Look For Some Dresses And The Owner Will Be Right Out." She Said. We Nodded As My Mom Started Showing Me Wedding Cakes.

"Can We Go Wedding Cake Tasting After This? I'm Craving Cake!" I Said. My Mom Nodded.

"Amayah Washington. Long Time No See." I Heard A Voice Say. I Looked Up And Saw My High School Friend Chloe.

"Chloe? Oh My God!" I Squealed

"How Have You Been? It's Been Years!" I Said.

"I Know. I've Been Great. How About You?" She Asked.

"Same Here. What Are You Doing In San Francisco?" I Asked.

"I Live Here Now." She Said.

"Really? What Happened To Your Scholarship At Princeton?" I Asked.

"Ehh...You Can't Smoke Weed On Campus. They Failed To Mention That." She Said, Shrugging Her Shoulders. Chloe Has Always Been Slightly Rebellious.

"I Moved Out Here And Opened The Wedding Dress Boutique. Which By The Way...Congratulations On Your Engagement. You Are The Bride Right?" She Asked. I Laughed And Nodded.

"Okay Good. Hi Mrs. Washington. Hi Amia. I Don't Know If You Guys Remember Me, But Amayah And I Went To School Together." Chloe Said.

"Of Course I Remember You Chloe." My Mom Said, Hugging Her.

"I Don't But Nice To See You Again." Amia Said. Chloe Laughed As She Squatted Down In Front Of Jazz.

"And Who Is This Beautiful Little Girl?" She Asked.

"This Is My Daughter Jazzlynn." I Said.

"Really? Oh Wow She's So Beautiful Amayah. You Know...She Kind Of Looks Like Liam Adkins. Remember Your High School Hunk!" She Said, Laughing.

"Well...He Is Her Dad." I Said. Her Eyes Grew Wide And Her Mouth Dropped.

"SERIOUSLY?" She Squealed. I Nodded.

"The Day I Got Pulled Out Of Class, After Ashley Sent That...Video...To The Entire School, Was The Day I Found Out. I Didn't Tell Anyone And We Ended Up Moving." I Said.

"No Wonder You Stopped Calling Me And Taking My Calls. That's Crazy! Does He Know?" She Asked. I Nodded.

"He's The One I'm Marrying." I Said. She Screamed As She Jumped Up And Down.

"I'm So Happy For You! Now...Let Me Get Back In Professional Mode. My Assistant Says You Like Stella York, Which Is A Fabulous Choice. I've Picked You Out Three Dresses That I'm Almost Certain That You'll Like." She Said. I Nodded As I Handed My Phone To Jazz.

"Let's Do This." I Said.

My Mom Was Crying Her Eyes Out When I Made My Final Dress Decision.

"Mom Stop Crying." I Said.

"I Can't Help It. You're Gonna Look So Beautiful On Your Big Day! Now Bag It Up And Let's Go! We Have A Thousand Other Places To Run!" My Mom Said. Wow. She Snapped Back Quick. I Hugged Chloe And Thanked Her For Her Help. I Also Invited Her To The Wedding And We Exchanged Numbers So I Could Text And Give Her The Details.

After We Left The Bridal Boutique, We Headed Wedding Cake Tasting Which Made Me Soooo Happy. I Never Knew There Was So Many Different Cake Flavors In There World, But There Are...And I Found The Perfect Wedding Cake.

Next Thing...The Venue.

My Mom Found The Perfect Venue For The Wedding But I Had To Make Sure It Was Up To My Standards Before She Booked It.

"This Is Pretty Nice." I Said, Holding Jazz On My Hip.

"I Told You. The Main Table Would Go Here, The Guests Tables Will Be Out Here, And The Dessert Table Will Be Over There. We'll Move The Guests Tables Out Of The Way When The Reception Starts, And Everyone Can Dance. The DJ Will Be Over There, And That Reminds Me...What Do You Want Your Wedding Song To Be?" She Asked.

"Thinking Out Loud By Ed Sheeran. Liam And I Love That Song." I Said.

"Okay. Duly Noted." She Said.
