Harry

"Yeah yeah just get here soon ok?" I rolled my eyes at Lola's blabbering before putting the phone down and heading downstairs.

I woke up in an empty bed, Violet no where in sight. I knew she hadn't left because she was smart enough to know that she wouldn't get far before I found her. I entered the living room to see Violet sat on the sofa, here eyes staring ahead of her into space.

"Vi" I addressed her. No response. I walked behind the sofa and lowered my hands on to her shoulders making her jump in shock.

"It's only me" I laughed as she settled under my touch and turned to face me. She smiled weakly at me as I rose my hand to her cheek.

"I don't like waking up alone" I almost pouted, earning a laugh from her.

"I couldn't sleep so I came down here last night to think" she rubbed her eyes from exhaustion.

"What did you think about?" I was almost nervous to hear her response, the idea of her changing her mind about us terrified me. She looked down for a minute before her eyes met mine again. She looked as if she wanted to say something but couldn't and so she just shook her head and smiled up at me once again.

"Nothing" she brushed off. I decided it would be best to not push her considering how tired she was, so I swiftly changed the topic.

"Lola's coming over" the smile grew on her face "she's gonna help you pick a dress for the ball" I cleared my throat before moving into the kitchen to get some water.

"I've missed her" Violet said from the sofa. On one hand i knew it was normal for her to miss her friend but part of me also wished I was enough for her and that she didn't need anyone else.

"She'll be here soon, I'm heading out with the boys to get new weapons and stuff but I'll be back later" I approached her once again and leant down to peck her lips

"Love you" I called, before heading out of the kitchen.

Violet

I lay on the sofa waiting for Lola to arrive. Harry and the boys had left about 30 minutes ago so I knew she would have to be here soon. It was crazy how things had changed so quickly between me and Harry, I mean a month ago he would never of trusted me to not run away in a situation like this. But then again, a month ago I wasn't in love with him.

My thoughts were interrupted by the door bell and I almost tripped I shot up so fast. I opened the door to reveal Lola stood smiling with numerous dress covers over her arm.

"I've missed you" I pulled her into a hug earning a sharp laugh from her

"Watch out or you'll crease the dresses" she giggled as she followed me inside the house. We went straight to the bedroom, her excitement about me being her human Barbie taking over completely.

"I'm not that into dresses" I huffed as she began unhooking the first option.

"Too bad because I am" she smirked before handing me a deep navy gown and demanding me to change. The dress was nice don't get me wrong, it was a simple maxi dress with a low back and a V neck but it just didn't strike me as anything special.

"I don't think that's the one" she looked me up and down before quickly reaching for the next dress.

About 5 dresses later and we were still at it. She looked up from her place on the bed as I changed into a baby pink dress near the mirror.

"So how are you and Harry?" She questioned

"Erm, what do you mean?" I always felt awkward with questions like this

"Like how are you? What's the latest?" She pushed

"We're good I mean we bicker sometimes but that's normal I guess" I replied as I continued to fight with the confusing dress straps.

"Do you think you'll sleep with him any time soon?" She giggled. I froze slightly as her question caught me off guard. Though I quickly tried to compose myself, she noticed my jolted behavior and  swiftly sat up.

"Oh my god you already have!" Her eyes grew wide along with her smirk as the heat rose in my cheeks.

"Was it good? How many times did you do it? Does he have a big-"

"Lola" I stopped her rampage of questions

"I'm sorry but this is exciting" she clapped her hands together earning a laugh from me.

"It's not that big of a deal" I shook my head

"Yes it is! Losing your virginity is a big mile stone" she nodded as my eye brows furrowed

"He wasn't my first" I said, my tone laced with confusion

"He wasn't?! Oh I bet he loved that"  she rolled her eyes and laughed. She was right though, he didn't like it that much.

"Yeah he wasn't thrilled" I smiled and finished fastening the dress.

"I don't like this one either" I huffed before collapsing back on the bed.

"You're so picky" she groaned. I felt material cover my face as she tossed another dress over my head.

"Do I have to?" I whined, my body exhausted from attempting to work the complicated dresses.

"Yes" she pushed me up off the bed as I began to put the new dress on. It was another simple style, short dress but the Crimson colour of this dress was the most striking I had seen out of all the others.

I fastened the dress and slowly turned towards Lola, her eyes widening as I did.

"You don't like it?" I bit my lip nervously

"Are you kidding? Violet you look perfect" she smiled as I began to blush again.

"I'm serious it's like it was made for you" she continued to look me up and down with a smile on her face. I looked in the mirror and smiled to myself, I actually looked decent in this one.

Just as I was about to reply a familiar text alert sounded, making my heart stop.

"Oh is that mine?" Lola began searching for her phone underneath her as I quickly attempted to come up with some kind of plan. Yeah she was my friend but she was Harry's friend first and I didn't know how she would react to me having the phone secretly. It looked pretty bad.

"I think it's coming from in there" Lola jumped up and before I could stop her she was in the bathroom heading for the draw.

"No I think it's-" I froze as she pulled the phone out of my hiding place and examined the new, probably creepy, text that had come through. She slowly turned to me, her eye brows furrowed and a hint of confusion on her features.

"Violet, What the fuck is this?"
