Just about three and a half months have passed since the whole half miscarriage thing, I still wasn't entirely sure on what to call it. But nevertheless, the one that held on seems to be doing pretty damn well. I had gone to the doctors to check on everything about three weeks after the fact, and I had been pleased to hear that it was already doing well and developing normally again.

Stress was something that only came when something small happened to bother me. It was never anywhere near what I had felt when I couldn't tell Brendon about the pregnancy. That was just horrid, and I'm glad I'm no longer at that high of a stress level.

I've found that things are becoming a little more difficult to handle, now that my stomach is at a good size. Like bending over for example. Or getting up from the couch. But Brendon hasn't left my side since he got back home from touring. He's been helping me with anything and everything, even when I didn't need it. It was sweet and all, but it sometimes got on my nerves. I wasn't disabled, I could still do things that he refused to let me do.

"Hey." Brendon sat down on the couch next to me. The sudden shift of the cushions brought me back from my thoughts. "You alright?" His face fell from a smile, to a concerning look as his eyebrows narrowed downward.

"Yeah, I was just thinking." I reply with as bright a smile as I could muster on my face, hoping that he would do the same. And after a few seconds, he did smile back at me. But it wasn't one of those half-assed kind of smiles like I had just sort of given him. It was one of those I fucking love you so much, kind of smiles. His lips would curl upward and he'd show off some of his teeth. It was honestly the most beautiful thing I could ever see.

"Whatcha thinking about?" He scooted himself a little closer and put his arm around me, allowing myself to rest my head against his shoulder.

"Nothing important." It wasn't exactly a lie. "I am a little hungry though." I got a chuckle out of him as he stood up, heading to what I assume was the kitchen. Or at least I hoped it was.

The space he left at my side felt cold and a bit lonely. I just wanted to be in his arms. I wanted him to stay at my side, whether or not he got up to get me food. It felt like I was being a little too clingy. And it annoyed me at times, but on the other hand, Brendon didn't seem to care.

"Are you actually hungry?" Brendon calls from the kitchen. "Or are you having your sweets craving again?" Now that he brought it up, I was wanting something on the sweeter side.

"Sweets." I had to hold in a laugh as Brendon said something along the lines of, of course you do, under his breath.

And after a few minutes of listening to Brendon clamming around in the kitchen and only half paying attention to the TV, Brendon came back and sat next to me. He had a giant bowl in his hands filled with what looked like fruit covered with chocolate sauce. It was honestly the best looking food I've seen all day.
