I Waited
but in the end I was
blown off again by that
freak of a boyfriend.

In the end,
I guess, I now
know the answer.
I will have to break

“love”.
But, who knows,
this may only be the beginning
of a glorious adventure.
I Walk In
and, to my relief,
the dishes have been
done.
I plop on the couch,
expecting a normal lazy nap.

this one will not be normal.
I won’t have Justin to hold me.

Everything will be okay.
Show me the pleasures that
“true” love has to offer.
But,
in the end,
I guess it wasn’t true love.
The Doorbell
rang, and I got up from the
comfy couch
to answer the door.
When I opened it,
there stood my mother.
Sorry, she pleaded,
forgot my key this morning.
She pushed past me
into the house.
Like she finally noticed
my dreary expression
plastered on my face, she asked,
Hey, sweetie, are you okay?
