Chapter 38: Home Again

Izzy’s POV

I have been sitting by Ashley for two weeks. They had him in a medically induced coma. Melody was sleeping on his chest right now while I was holding Austin. Matt and the guys came to check on me every day. I got my tests results back yesterday. I didn’t want to tell anyone the results till Ashley woke up. I called his grandparents since they took care of him when he was a kid. They are staying at our house and were shocked that they were great grandparents now. Melody started crying again. She really misses her daddy so much. I put Austin in his carrier and picked up Melody. “Melody, please stop crying for daddy. He is going to be okay.” I said. She only cried more. I soon started crying. I felt a hand on mine and I pushed it away thinking it was Matt. “Lovebug.” A weak voice said. I looked up and saw Ash smiling at me. I placed Melody down and hugged Ashley tightly while kissing him. “I thought I lost you.” I said. “You will never loose me.” He said. I kissed him again. “Good to know because you are stuck with me for the rest of our lives.” I whispered into his ear. He broke out into a huge smile and kissed me passionately. “I knew I wouldn’t lose you.” He said. I smiled and kissed him back. Melody started fussing again. I laughed and picked her up. “She needs her daddy.” I said. He smiled and held her close while I went to get a nurse. A nurse came and flirted with him. I got angry. “Listen bitch, just make sure my husband is okay and then leave. Don’t flirt with him in front of me his wife and his kids.” I said. She growled and left the room. “I hope you can leave soon.” I said. He chuckled. “Honey, I love you so much.” He said kissing me. I smiled and kissed him back. I called the guys and they all came to see Ashley. Juliet smiled and Austin while the guys were talking about Warped since they finished The Church Of The Wild Ones Tour. We were going to be free from the end of April till June. I was so happy to be able to spend it with Ash. Don’t get me wrong I love touring but it is nice to be home with family. “When we start Warped Iz and the kids are staying on my bus.” Juliet said. I smiled. “Well I will stay with the guys some nights.” I said. They nodded. I went to find Ashley’s doctor and he said Ashley can leave tonight. I signed his release forms and headed back. A new nurse was unhooking him from all the machines. Andy handed him his clothes and he went to get changed. I looked at his ass when he walked by. I saw Juliet laughing to herself. I smiled and got the kids ready to go. Ashley came out and kissed me. We headed outside and said goodbye to everyone. “I wanna drive.” Ashley whined. I shook my head no and we put the kids in the car. He got in the passenger seat and we headed home. Once we got inside I put the kids down for a nap and headed back to Ashley. I smiled at him and sat on his lap. “I’ve missed you so much.” I said kissing him. “I’ve missed you too.” He said kissing me back. Soon we were making out and my fingers were entangled in his hair. “Let’s take this to the bedroom.” He said. I smiled and nodded. We ripped off our clothes and jumped onto the bed. After an hour we flopped down next to each other panting and sweating. I heard fussing come from the two monitors. “You get Melody and I get Austin.” I said. He nodded. He slipped on his boxers and a pair of shorts while I put on my panties and one of his shirts. I went to Austin’s room and he was standing up with tears in his eyes. My baby. “Mommy is here now.” I said picking him up. I sang to him and he calmed down. I headed to Melody’s room and saw Ashley rocking Melody and singing to her. I smiled and sat down on the ground with Austin. He started crawling around Melody’s room. “When did he start crawling?” Ash asked. “About a week ago when you were in your coma.” I said. He frowned. “Hey, you get to be there for more important things.” I said. He smiled and kissed Melody’s head. He placed her on the ground and she started chasing her brother. I sat between Ash’s legs and watched our babies. “I wish everyday could be like this. Being with my family and watching them be happy. “I love you.” Ashley whispered in my ear. “I love you too.” I said kissing him.

I know it is a short update but I am ending this story in seven chapters and then starting the sequel which will be from Austin and Melody's point of view.
