Chapter 41: First Day of Warped Tour 2013

Ashley’s POV

I woke up to someone pulling on my hair. “Babe, we can’t. The kids and guys are here.” I said. She didn’t stop. I sat up and saw Austin. I started laughing. “You aren’t your mommy.” I said. He smiled and gurgled. I kissed his head and got up. Iz was dancing around with Melody in the front of the bus. I got some applesauce out and rice cereal. Iz and I are introducing the kids to solid foods. I put him in his highchair and got the two bowls. “Here comes the airplane.” I said as I made a plane noise flying the spoon to Austin’s mouth. He giggled and opened his mouth. I fed him the applesauce and he smiled. I guess he likes applesauce. We tried peas yesterday and he spit them out. Melody likes anything we give her. I fed him the applesauce and the rice cereal till he was done. I gave him half a bottle and sat on the couch with him. Andy came out all ready for today. Thank god we weren’t doing war paint this summer. The kids usually cry when they see the guys all war painted out. Well the old us. They don’t mind the new war paint. They were used to my old war paint but not the guys. The really didn’t like Jinxx’s at all. “We go on at 12 today and our signing is at 4.” He said. I nodded. “That means shower Ash. You woke up late. It is 11.” He said. I jumped up. “Austin, can you hang out with Uncle Andy while daddy gets ready?” I asked. He reached for Andy. I laughed. “That’s my boy.” I said kissing his head. I gave him to Andy and headed to the shower. I took a quick shower and got dressed. I slipped on my black skinnies, a vest and tied my hair back. I placed one of my brand bandanas on and my hat. I have really not given a fuck what I wear anymore. I grabbed my sunglasses and put them in my pocket. I saw Iz and smiled. She was wearing black ripped skinnies, a black tank top and my Ashley Fuckin’ Purdy vest I designed. She had her hair curled and was holding our two beautiful babies. They were wearing Black Veil Brides onesies. I slipped Melody’s flower headband on her. I grabbed their headphones and placed them on their heads to protect their little ears. I took Austin and we slipped on our sunglasses so we could try and go unnoticed. I took her free hand in mine and we walked to the stage. “Are you a fucking idiot?” someone asked me. “Excuse me?” I asked. “Who brings their fucking babies to Warped Tour? They can get injured badly. I mean are you mental.” The girl said. She was one of those blonde bimbos who look like a band whore and she had a BVB shirt on. Man was she going to be upset with herself now. I took off my sunglasses. “I do, so I can have my family here with me to support me on tour. I am lucky that my wife wanted to come to the place where we first met with our children. We keep our children safe from harm at all times. Why don’t you worry about yourself? You look like you can snap in half.” I said. Her jaw dropped as soon as she saw who I was. “I am so sorry Mr. Purdy.” She said. “Forget it; just keep your mouth shut. Enjoy the music today.” I said still mad. I slipped my glasses back on and Iz kissed my cheek. “Thank you.” She said. “No one is going to be rude to my family.” I said kissing her. She smiled and we got to the stage. I handed Austin to Jon and tuned my bass. “Hey Iz, can I bring you guys out on stage today?” I asked. “Sure, I would love that and I think the kids would too.” She said. I smiled and kissed her one last time before we ran on stage. Technically, we haven’t introduced our babies to the army yet. Today is the day. We went through Fallen Angels, I Am Bulletproof, Shadows Die, and Wretched and Devine. Now it is break time. “So guys, you know Ashley over here married Isabella Good.” Andy said. The crowd cheered. “Well we have someone we would like to introduce to you but you need to promise to be quiet for them.” I said. They nodded. Jon took their headphones and I took Austin. I took Iz’s hand and we walked on stage. “These are our beautiful twins. This is Austin and Melody Purdy.” I said. The audience awed. “I am so grateful to be able to have them on tour with me right now. I love them both so much. Hopefully they will be like all of you someday enjoying Warped Tour with their friends and family.” I said. They cheered quietly. I kissed Austin and Melody’s heads. They headed back stage. “Now this song is for my beautiful wife and kids. This is Let You Down.” I said. We played that then Rebel Yell and finished off with In The End. I ran backstage and kissed Iz. “You did great babe but you put the kids back to sleep during In The End.” Iz said. I chuckled and took Melody from her. We walked back to the bus and laid them down. “Go see Juliet’s set with Andy. I am going to stay here.” I said. “Are you sure Ash? I don’t mind.” She said. “No, go enjoy Warped Tour. You always stay home with them and it is my turn.” I said. She smiled and kissed me. “Thank you. I will meet you at your signing. I have my phone and pass.” She said. I nodded. I laid down with my babies and took a nap. Iz deserves a day of fun.

Izzy’s POV

“Andy, come on!” I yelled locking arms with him. I took off running to the Kevin Says Stage. We made it just in time. “JULIET!” I yelled. She turned around and ran over. Andy caught her and kissed her before I could hug her. “Dick.” I said. He chuckled. I hugged Juliet. “Good luck babes. I will be here waiting for you.” I said. She nodded and headed on stage. When Juliet was halfway through her set Andy and I had an idea. We locked hands and started slow dancing together behind Juliet while she was talking. All the fans laughed and Juliet turned around. “And this would be my idiot boyfriend and my beautiful best friend, Isabella Purdy and Andy Biersack.” She said. “Hey I am not idiotic. You love me baby admit it. Our sex is awesome.” I said. “Aw thanks. I am beautiful.” Andy said. The crowd erupted with laughter. We headed backstage and let her finish. Juliet came off stage and smiled. We hugged her. “Go off you two. I am off to enjoy my alone time.” I said. They locked arms and headed off. I headed to Woe, Is Me set and Hance brought me side stage. I smiled and danced to every song. Once they were done I wandered around and saw a familiar flag. No they didn’t tell me they were here. I ran over and saw Danny. “DANIEL SETH RODRIGUEZ!” I screamed. He turned around. I ran over and tackled him with a hug. “Why didn’t you guys tell me you were coming?” I asked. “I thought Nikki told you.” He said. I shook my head no. “Well run over to the Tilly’s stage. They are going on.” He said. I hugged him again and ran over. The guard let me back stage and I saw my half head. I jumped on her and tackled her to the ground. “Fuck you Jones.” She said. She turned over and saw me. She squealed and hugged me. “Why didn’t you tell me you were here?” I asked. “Nikki was supposed to.” She said. I glared at Nikki. “What? It must’ve slipped my mind.” He said. I laughed and hugged them all. “I’ve missed my creeps.” I said. They smiled and got ready to go on. I sang along to all the songs. Nick even let me be Murder Mickey today. I had fun on stage and got out of the costume. I told them I would see them later and went to go enjoy the rest of the day. I saw Never Shout Never, Secrets, Set It Off, Tonight Alive, The Summer Set, Man Overboard, Issues, We Came As Romans, Sleeping With Sirens and Bring Me The Horizon. I crowd surfed at BMTH. Oli helped me up on stage and let me sing Sleepwalking with him. I chilled side stage for the rest of the concert. I decided to call Ash. “Hey babe.” He said. “Hey, I am going to see Attila and then I am coming back to the bus.” I said. “Okay, be careful. I will be waiting. I love you.” He said. “I love you too.” I said. I headed to the Monster Stage and stood in the crowd. Time for some good old moshing. They came out with my favorite Middle Fingers Up. Fronz smiled at me and I winked. His girlfriend Victoria. I can’t wait to see her on tour. Soon they started Rage. I smiled and jumped in the pit. I was enjoying myself and having a blast. They started their last song. About That Life. I got in the pit for the last time. I felt a fist collide with my face. “Oh shit, Izzy I am so sorry.” The voice said before I blacked out. I woke up at the med tent. They gave me water and pain meds. “I am so sorry Iz.” I turned and recognized the voice. “Justin, must we keep meeting like this.” I said laughing. He chuckled. “Sorry, I tried to stop.” He said. “Hey help a lady back to her bus.” I said. He nodded. He helped me back to the bus. Ashley came running over from his chair. “What happened?” he asked worried. “Remember how I met Justin at Warped Tour 2011.” I said. He said oh and helped me sit down. “Thanks dude. It was nice seeing you.” Ash said trying to get him to leave. “Ya, you too. I better go find my boyfriend.” He said adding an emphasis on the boyfriend part. I chuckled and he left. “Keep in touch.” I yelled to him as he left. “Will do.” He said. “Ash, I am never leaving you. I love you plus he is gay now.” I said. Ash nodded and kissed me. “I am glad though you guys are good terms after everything that happened.” He said. “Ya, I don’t want anything toxic in my life anymore.” I said. He nodded. We all ate dinner at the service tent and had a Batman movie marathon thanks to Andy and I. CC fell asleep with Melody on the couch. I covered them in a blanket. I sent a picture to Geena and she was happy. She was joining us on tour after the first two weeks. She had some work to finish up. Oh ya CC didn’t know yet but we are having their wedding ceremony on stage this summer. Kevin said we can do it midway through tour just tell him the day. I looked around for Austin. Andy had him in his arms fast asleep. I covered them with a blanket and sent a picture to Juliet. She replied saying she really wanted a baby but she does want to wait because of their careers. I knew what she meant. Soon they will have a baby. I climbed into bed with Ashley and fell asleep in his arms. Here’s to a great first day of Warped Tour 2013.
