Chapter 44: The Summer Is Coming To An End

Izzy’s POV

Finally Warped Tour is over as of today. I spent it seeing Hawthorne Heights, Go Radio, Forever the Sickest Kids, Silverstein, The Wonder Years, LetLive and of course Black Veil Brides. Tonight was Warped Prom. Jon agreed to watch the kids which I was extremely grateful for. I headed to Juliet’s bus and we got ready together with Ash. Ash was going with Cody Carson tonight to the prom. I was happy that they were getting along so well. I curled my hair and placed a braid across the top. I did my makeup naturally and then went to put my dress on. I slipped it on over my body and had Juliet zip it up. I slipped on my black high heel pumps and put my wedding ring back on. I put on some black and silver bangles along with the star necklace Ashley got me. We all finished getting ready and we heard a knock at the door and there were our three men. I saw Ashley’s jaw drop. “We’ve been together for almost two years and you still make me have that reaction.” He said kissing me. I blushed and kissed him back. We headed to the party and Danny Bateman handed us a drink. I smiled and hit the dance floor with Ashley. It felt as if no one else was here. Just us swaying back and forth to the music. Ashley left for a bit to talk to people as I stood with New Years Day having a great conversation with them. I heard someone clear their throat and I looked up to the stage. There stood Ashley nervous as ever. “I just wanted to say Happy Anniversary to my beautiful wife of one year Isabella Purdy. Even though our anniversary isn’t for another six days. People say that the first year of being married is the hardest but we’ve proved those people wrong. I love you Isabella more than anything in this world. This song is for you.” He said as a white screen came down and the video of our first dance started as the band started playing Lucky. Our first dance. He reached out his hand and I took it. We danced around the floor with everyone watching us. It felt like our wedding all over again. Kevin Lyman and his wife Fran joined us on the floor. It has been great getting to know Kevin. His daughter, Sierra and I have grown close. She loved hanging out with the babies. The song finished and Ashley dipped me then kissed me. I smiled and kissed him back. “So we are spending our anniversary together while Matt looks after the kids then we are going on our family vacation to Maine.” He said. I nodded and we continued dancing. I let Ashley get a little tipsy and then we headed back to the bus. I tucked him into bed and went to talk to Jon. “They were great. They went to bed easily and didn’t put up a fight.” He said. I smiled. “Thank you so much Jon.” I said hugging him. I headed to bed after stripping out of my dress and putting on a pair of Ashley’s shorts and his shirt. I undid my hair and washed off my makeup. I kissed my babies’ heads and went to bed. Ashley instinctively wrapped his arms around me. I chuckled and fell asleep. I didn’t want to leave my Warped Tour family but I would see them all again soon plus Terry said if his tent could be on Warped Tour next year he said I could work it with Lindsey. I rolled over and buried my face in Ashley’s chest. I woke up to Ashley going around the room packing up all of our things. “Where are we going?” I asked. “Kevin Lyman invited us fishing with Andy, Juliet, Lisa and his family.” He said. I smiled and jumped out of bed getting ready for the day. Sierra came walking into the bus with Juliet laughing and smiling. I smiled and Sierra sat down with the babies. “Are you ready for the fishing trip?” she asked. “Ya, I am happy I don’t have to say goodbye to you yet.” I said. “Well we do live in the same state. So it will be hard to get rid of me.” She said. I chuckled and hugged her. We finished packing and got into a car. Kevin is letting Sierra ride with us. We were all joking around and laughing on the ride. Sierra sat in between the kids while I sat next to Juliet and Ashley, Matt and Andy are in the front. Once we got to New Orleans, everyone in the car was asleep but Matt and I. “How do we wake them up?” he asked. I smirked. “Grab Melody and I will grab Austin.” I said. He smirked and grabbed her. I set an alarm for one minute and it would sing opera. I shut the door and stood back with Matt and the kids. Everyone jolted awake and Andy threw my phone at me. I laughed and put my phone back in my pocket. We all got on the boat and Sierra went to go find her family. Ashley and I picked a room and Andy and Juliet took the one next door. Matt tried to get to share a bed with Andy but Juliet made him find a different room. I laughed at how pouty Matt was. I got the kids settled in and got sunscreen on them. I changed into a bikini while Ashley went back to napping. The poor guy hasn’t gotten a lot of sleep on tour. I headed out to the deck and lay out in the sun with my babies. I felt it get cold and dark. I look up and see Matt blocking the sun. “Yes brother of mine.” I said. “Well I want to take Austin down to the other side of the boat with Andy, Kevin and I to fish.” He said. “Go ahead but make sure he doesn’t burn or I will kill you.” I said. “Okay, I promise.” He said. I nodded and lied back down with Melody on my chest. I looked over and saw Juliet and Sierra jumping into the water. I saw Fran sitting by the side of the boat. I joined Fran and watched the girl splash around in the water. “Join us.” Juliet said grabbing my ankle. “I am on mommy duty right now. I will take a message after the beep. Beep.” I said. “I will hold Melody. Go on in.” Fran said. “Thank you.” I said. Melody pouted but went to Fran. Juliet and Sierra grabbed onto my ankles and pulled me in. I squealed and splashed them. Melody giggled while watching us. Ashley came running out. “What’s going on?” he asked. I laughed and splashed him. He smiled and blew me a kiss. I pretended to catch it. He went to join everyone fishing. Soon the sun began to set and everyone was heading to the main land for fireworks and a barbecue with the roadies. I pulled my hair up into a bun and took Austin in my arms. Melody was fast asleep in Ashley’s. I sat down in-between Mike and Lindsey. “Gimme gimme.” She said holding her arms out to Austin. I laughed and handed him over. Lindsey smiled and played with Austin. “I can’t wait to meet your baby boy.” I said. “I can’t wait to meet him too.” Lindsey said. Terry and Danny were goofing off as usual setting up the fireworks. “Josh you might want to go make sure they don’t blow us up. I can keep your pretty girlfriend occupied.” I said. Josh groaned and Beebs laughed. Josh then got involved in the boys antics and soon all the boys were goofing off except Kevin who was cooking. We all ate dinner and then sat around a bonfire laughing and making smores. Melody and Austin are both asleep by now in their carriers. I am cuddled up in Ashley’s arms. I felt Ashley kiss my head and I leaned up and kissed him. Danny, Terry and Kenny started to set off the fireworks. Melody and Austin woke up and I placed them in my lap. They looked so happy watching the fireworks. I love my family and I am so lucky to have them. I looked to my right and saw Beebs and Josh kissing and Juliet and Andy kissing next to them. Kevin and Fran were kissing and next to them were Lindsey and Mike kissing. I smiled. I looked at Ashley and kissed him. We then kissed our beautiful babies. They smiled. “Mama.” They said at the same time. I smiled. “Thank you for giving me the perfect family.” Ashley said. “Thank you for loving me.” I said. Soon the fireworks were over and people were bringing out the alcohol. Ashley and I decided to take the kids to bed. We bathed them and fed them their bottles. We kissed them and sang them to sleep. I changed into one of his tee shirts and climbed into bed. Ashley soon followed and wrapped his arms around me pressing his chest to mine. I kissed him and he kissed me. We both then fell asleep. I hate to see this summer come to an end but it has been an amazing summer.
