"Hey Jacob!" I yelled as he raced inside. "How was school?"
"Fine," he said, then looked at me. "Why didn't you go?" I shrugged my shoulders and sat down on the counter. We just got the new house in Alaska and it's huge! It fit's the whole wolf pack.
"I guess I didn't feel like it today."
"Well you have to go tomorrow. You need the education Seth." I rolled my eyes and groaned.
"You sounding more and more like Leah everyday." Jacob laughed and tossed his backpack to the floor.
"Are you going out today?"
"Yep," I nodded. "Just to see how big this place is." Jacob nodded and started heading out the door when he stopped.
"Oh yeah, the new vampire is going to be out there tonight. Maybe introduce yourself?" I rolled my eyes.
"Fine, I'll be nice."
"That's a good boy," Jacob teased and ran out the door.
The truth was, I didn't really like hanging with new vampires. They give me the creeps with their weird red eyes. I jumped off the cliff and landed lightly on my paws. I followed the scent of the new vampire, hoping she could smell that I was a wolf. The scent got stronger as I head east. The wind was picking up so it was easy to tell which direction she was going. Then, I saw blonde hair flying in the wind. She stopped when she smelled me.
"Are you the wolf Jacob was talking about?" she said. Her voice was high and kind of fairy like. It reminded me of Alice. The vampire walked out into the clearing and looked around. When she spotted me, I starred into her eyes. Green? Wasn't she... then a vision appeared in my eyes. It was of her and me. We were laughing and holding hands. We were dancing in the rain and smiling at one another. Did we just kissed? The vision blurred away and my knees gave out. I saw our future in her eyes and I knew in that second, I imprinted on a vampire.
