Jennette's Point of View
Red eyes. That's all I saw everywhere as I walking down the dark hallway in the Clock Tower. Alec was right next to me as other vampires passed. They all smelled the same, rusty and ancient. Soon, we entered this great room. Columns were everywhere in this room. They had the same width all the way up to the ceiling. Long drapes were shading the windows and four throne chairs were in the center of the room. You had to walk up steps to get to them. Three chairs were already taken, but one was still open. A vampire with brown hair that was pushed out of his face was sitting on the farthest chair to the left. His jaw line was squared and he looked at me with bored eyes. All the way to the right, a blonde male vampire sat. He looked younger then the other two that were sitting but more fierce. His bright eyes burned into me. Next to the blonde one was a vampire with long brown hair. He looked at me with a delicate smile and wide eyes. Only one vampire was standing up. This one was a female with blonde hair that was held in a tight bun. She looked at me with burning eyes.
Alec patted my shoulder and went to stand next to the blonde girl, leaving me alone in the middle of the room. "Introduce yourself everyone," the one with long brown hair and the delicate smile said, still staring at me.
"Hello," the female said. "I am Jane. You have met my brother Alec." I looked her way and gulped. Just the way Jane looked at me made me scared but I kept me chin up and nodded my head.
"I am Marcus," the one to the left said.
"I am Caius," the blonde one said, eyes boring in to me.
"And I am Aro dear one," Aro said gently.
"My name is Jennette," I whispered. I saw Aro shiver as I spoke. I looked down at the ground and said, "Alec told me you will be able to help me with my eyes."
"Yes," Aro said. "We can tell you about your eyes, but under one condition." I looked up with a raised eyebrow. "You must rule with us. Forever." I looked down at my hands.
"I'm sorry," I said. Now I looked up at him with a strong face. "I would rather not know about the power my eyes have held. I have a life somewhere else." Aro sighed and looked at Jane. Jane smiled with a growl and instantly, I felt pain. Not just any pain though, fire. Fire was inside of me. It was like turning into a vampire all over again, but worst. I thought my insides were boiling. I screamed in agonizing pain and looked at Jane. Her shoulders were bobbing up and down as is if was laughing. I looked into her eyes and felt her soul. It was fiery and hot but I would control it.
"STOP!" I screamed, and in an instant, the pain was gone. I slowly got up, the inside of me still in pain. I looked at Jane and she was in a daze. I stopped thinking about her soul in my power and she shacked her head. She looked at me with wide eyes and then looked at Aro.
"Sir," she whispered.
"I saw," Aro laughed. I looked at him with a glare and raised my hand up. Thinking of my power to move things I closed my eyes and imagined lifting him up by the neck. I heard noises and gasps and opened my eyes. Aro was in the air eying my widely, his hands pressed to his throat. The other vampires started running to me and I put up my other hand and pushed them away, making them sit on the ground. The anger that was burning inside of me was making my power strong. I looked up at Aro and growled, "If you ever make her do that pain to me again, I will kill you." He nodded and I dropped him to the ground. I released everyone from sitting down but they didn't run to me. They looked at me with frightening eyes.
"I will not do that to you again," Aro promised looking at me with a smile. I started to turn around and leave but Aro was in front of me. "Goodbye Jennette," he said sweetly, taking my hand and kissed it. He held my hand tighter and closed his eyes. I looked at him with a confused glance and took my hand away.
"Good bye Aro."
Aro's Point of View
In the instant I held her hand, I looked threw her thoughts. Opening the little files inside her mind. I found her sitting with the Cullen's, then with a boy. I looked at the boy and remembered his face. Jennette let go and I opened my eyes to find her staring at me. "Goodbye Aro," she said and walked out the door. I looked at the few members of the Volturi and smiled.
"She loves a boy," I told them. "And I believe his coming here to find her. Now, I promised that I wouldn't put her in pain again." I smiled at Jane. "But I didn't promise that I would leave the boy alone. Jane grinned and started laughing quietly. If I can't have her with me, then no one can.
