Hi, my name is Carly Tanner and I've had a crazy last six years.(I'm 18)It all started with my mom and I moving to Kentucky from Maine. Soon after that....I got sick. Very sick.... I was in bed for weeks. I was only twelve years old. We went to a doctor and I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. That is when a form of cancer starts to form on the Thyroid gland which is a gland on the front of the throat. By the age of fourteen, I already had stage II Thyroid Cancer. That is when the cancer cells have spread through the body. Here is my story, and how cancer affected my life as a teenager.
