I started back at school and everyone was saying that they thought I died. I mean I could've. But anyways, no one knew I had cancer and people were questioning why I was wearing a red bandanna on my head. Or why I would wear a beanie all the time. I would just tell them I enjoyed wearing them and move on. Absolutely no one had a clue that my head was completely bald until that on PE class.(It makes me cringe just thinking about it)
PE(She's having a flashback so I am going to be quoting characters and things like that. So please don't get confused!)
My coach waved his hand back and forth impatiently and he gestured for me to join the group. We were in PE and we were about to take turns climbing the rope. I was good at these kinds of things so I wasn't worried about anything. It was my first week back at school and K wanted to show people that I was completely fine so they didn't suspect anything. Then, of course Jessie, the "bully" came over and asked me, " Take off that ridiculous beanie! It is sooo ugly!" I glued my hands to the top of my head to prevent any attacks she made to try and pull it off.
She whipped her hands back on forth on my head in attempt to get the "ridiculous beanie" off my head. I dodged her attacks, but I was so wrapped up in running away that I didn't notice that she ran in front of me. She ripped off my beanie, and I let out a LOUD scream. At that moment, all eyes were on me and my head. I snatched my beanie back from her and ran out of the gym. I caught a glimpse of her shocked face as I opened the door. I put my beanie back on my head and ran all the way across the school to the farthest bathrooms. I didn't want any encounters with anyone in my gym class.
I went in the big stall and slammed the door behind me. I reimagined the past events. Everyone staring at me. Everyone's eyes glued on my head!! Why me??!! I burst into tears and called my mom. Sympathy was in her voice, "Honey... I-I'm so sorry...I thought it was okay to send you back to school." Just then, I couldn't breathe... It was happening again. My mom quickly realized what was wrong and the last thing I remember....
